Ultimatum anyone? I hear they go down well with our summer signings?

Nah never give him one let him take a few years to think about it . Everything seems to be dragging its killing me slowly

Lots of people might not wish to come to Leicester at first mention, especially people who've never, or hardly, heard of the place.

But it's actually a decent base for lots of reasons, both career-wise and personally, while not being much further than a decent teeshot from London.

Kante's football statistics seem quite impressive and surely a coach like Ranieri could improve them further.

I just wonder if communication is the big barrier in Kante's mind.

Some people aren't comfortable at the prospect of learning a new language.

But they shouldn't worry in Leicester.

Good English is becoming as rare here as a free parking space.

I always get my hopes up when I see a new post on this thread only to read it's nothing relevant.  :D

He probably already speaks English to some sort of level but shouldn't worry about language. Ranierir & Mahrez are French speakers, maybe De Laet is too and maybe even Was. It looks like his MF partner will be coming from France too.

I always forget the people in France speak Belgian ........

Well my username is a long story. But I could have picked Jean-Louis Marcel to sound more "cliché" :)

To talk more about Kanté, he is a special player, on and off the pitch. You saw vids of his skills and tackling statistics, so you know him on the pitch, he's easily the best player we saw here in 10 years (our other good players were Yohan Gouffran, Youssef El Arabi or M'baye Niang so don't expect a Ballon d'Or). But off the pitch is an ordinary guy, very shy. He'll never spend millions in cars, big houses or fancy clothes. Last year he was coming everyday to the club by feet, with his backpack. You'll never hear him on interview or shows, he never talks to the ref or opponents, he just plays football. He is a "refreshing" player (don't know if it has the same meaning in english)

To sum up, we would be pleased to keep him one more season (we could because we already sell one of our young prospects to Monaco) but if we don't we'd rather see him in another league than ours :) And the Premier League is a big challenge for him.

So come on, make an offer !

You would make a great salesman I almost believed he was World class until you said come on, make an offer!

I think it's likely communication is bugger all to do with it and you are just using this transfer as a vehicle to project your own agenda which appears to be parking and spoken English!

Not sure if I'm missing a brilliant joke from him or if he genuinely thinks Belgian's the language of Belgium and not (depending on location) Dutch, French, or German.

Check-out his other posts: either he's a wum or a retard.

I'm not sure which.

Ladies and gents, we introduce the next phase of Internet idiots.... The Wumtard.

Diarra is going to Marseille hopefully this ends their interest in Kante for good. I think we should make one more run at him he looks the real deal and would give me a lot of confidence going in to the new season.
