I think ultimately he needs to move this window if he's to capitalize on his successful last season. You are only as good as your last season and all that. If I were him I would wait and have my agent keep a very close eye on transfer proceedings at LCFC. Then again he might not be interested in moving away from France period. Who knows!

I wouldn't give up on him that easily. If the realisation that he might be spending another season with Caen we might start to look very attractive. We'll probably pay him four or five times his current salary and he'll have a better chance to showcase his talents in a better league and if he's good enough might get a move to a better club in a year or two.

Like you say showcase your talents in the best league in the world and become an international superstar - and if it doesn't quite work out that way at least you're now a millionaire.
