katieakita Posted 14 July 2015 Posted 14 July 2015 Not only that. Would you rather live in Marseille or Leicester? Marseille is nothing special.
fox_favourite Posted 14 July 2015 Posted 14 July 2015 Marseille has a gang and crime problem, so it'll be chosen due to the weather.
lcfcnsk Posted 14 July 2015 Posted 14 July 2015 http://www.footmercato.net/breves/n-golo-kante-enfin-seduit-par-leicester_157762 N'golo Kanté finally seduced by Leicester? Determined to sign in Marseille, N'golo Kanté (24 years) is being done for a reason.Faced with the intransigence of Gravelaine Xavier , CEO of SM Caen, the midfielder seems to resolve to take the direction of Leicester. " The arrival of Ranieri Leicester is an important element , "the player told Trend West . The signing of the Italian coach Monday would have changed your opinion Kanté seeing with new eyes the project of Leicester. SM Caen would then be able to pocket the € 9M offered by Leicester for the player. The club had refused the offer of 5M € from Marseilles, then described as " disrespectful ".
Stevosevic Posted 14 July 2015 Posted 14 July 2015 So he likes Ranieri, the fee as we know is agreed - this kante Is signing...
Max Power Posted 14 July 2015 Posted 14 July 2015 Ranieri is an important element Should have put that in the press release
EverybodyDannsNow Posted 14 July 2015 Posted 14 July 2015 I like the sound of that article. If we can get Kante and Cambiasso signed up in the coming days then Ranieri will be off to the perfect start
Fox 4 Life Posted 14 July 2015 Posted 14 July 2015 Kante will have seen first hand what he did at Monaco. This is looking good if the article is reliable

I can certainly see that the view of the club outside of the UK has likely changed since yesterday. As long as we still target the right type of player and not adopt the QPR model of targeting over paid has beens, then I can see that working in our favour.
foxes_rule1978 Posted 14 July 2015 Posted 14 July 2015 Looks good... will be a Great signing! excellent, Ranieri is well respected that is for sure...
Bagworthblue Posted 14 July 2015 Posted 14 July 2015 really hope this goes ahead - Cambiasso next please and I do think we need yet another top CM and a top centre aaarf would be good too and then I would consider this a summer of good transfer business
Ric Flair Posted 15 July 2015 Posted 15 July 2015 He'll end up here, Marseille ain't paying what we're paying. Simple.
Nick Posted 15 July 2015 Posted 15 July 2015 Let's hope so. Imagine a summer where we actually sign our transfer targets.
Gerard Posted 15 July 2015 Posted 15 July 2015 I'll be worried if our MF at the start of the season was any two from King, Drinkwater and Hammond. Despite what anyone thinks of Ranieri's appointment he is a name that is recognised throughout Europe and potential signings knowledge of us is more than just seeing Leicester City in the PL tables. If we get Kante in it will be massive for us and I daresay Cambiasso would be as pleased as anyone as he'll do a lot of the donkey work and let Cambiasso play.
johnny the fox Posted 15 July 2015 Posted 15 July 2015 Bet he turns out to be absolute shight after all this...

Been hoping this transfer goes through for weeks. However I seem to remember King and Hammond managed to surprise us all when needed at the beginning of last season; and King in particular managed to impress throughout when he got the chance. I hope James has a speedy recovery, and would hope we have a midfield that looks a lot better than it currently does, but our players have heart (Hammond and King ran themselves into the ground in those first matches) and thats also important in anyone we sign.
dayday Posted 15 July 2015 Author Posted 15 July 2015 Bet he turns out to be absolute shight after all this... Yeah we can call him a useless Kante
Lambert09 Posted 15 July 2015 Posted 15 July 2015 My girlfriend speaks French as she's from Canada and I asked her to listen to his interview and translate. He didn't say Ranieri was an important element, that's been mistranslated. What he said was that we didn't have a manager before but now that we have one it will make things easier for him. He said that us having a manager in place is an important element... Which is pretty obvious. The whole interview was professional and he didn't really give an indication on what he wants. Sorry to piss on the first positive Ranieri comment haha

If having a manager made it easier for him to say no, well that'd be very strange.
Babylon Posted 15 July 2015 Posted 15 July 2015 If it'll make it an easier decision, then surely the decision would be a yes? Or he thinks Ranieri is a bell end and it will make it easier to say no now.

LCCFox96 Posted 15 July 2015 Posted 15 July 2015 Whether he likes Ranieri or likes the fact we have a manager it should make it easier to push a deal through either way. I will be really pleased if we get this one across the line.
les-tah Posted 15 July 2015 Posted 15 July 2015 Knowing your girlfriend speaks french has given me the horn.. sorry.. gf pics pls.
