Plus his name is Geronimo.  Hows Lodeiro been as a signing? I was going to sign him for £3m but held onto the money and managed to get Embolo when AC Milan came in for Okazaki.
Donut Posted 3 December 2015 Posted 3 December 2015 So, whats the feeling of this edition? worth a punt at around £25?  I think it is worth the money, but there are some glitches that seem to obvious and highly unrealistic in the game to me:  1) Lots, and lots of injuries. Far far too often, and they often come in batches.  2) During games, a huge proportion of goals for you, and against you, coming immediately after a goal at the other end. Again far too often  3) I think a significant one, the huge peaks and troughs in form. This one in particular for me:  It seems to happen ALL the time that youll hit a patch of form where you win 4 or 5 games on the spin, and usually comfortably. And in doing this, you can pretty much change the team how you want, and still win the game.  BUT you also have the reverse happen in a bad run. After say the 5th win in a row, usually youll have a game youre heavy favourites to win. No matter what you do in this game, you WILL lose. And then youll go on a long run of not winning just the same length as when you were winning.  And the total opposite will be true. Nothing you do tactically, no changes in personnel, or anything you say to the players will change the fact youll keep losing for a while.  This frustrates me absolutely no end. It makes everything look far, far too contrived.

Very early days yet but Lodeiro certainly looks value for £3m so far.  Excluding a poor 1st match away to Man Utd (understandable), he's not been rated any worse than 6.6 yet, averaging out at 7.23 over the 7 league games so far (1 goal, 4 assists).  Reckon he'd be rated higher if his team mates put away the many openings he creates, great eye for a pass.

Grantham Fox Posted 4 December 2015 Posted 4 December 2015 Would you say that physical attributes are more important (than technical) in VCN? I'm gonna have 2 saves, 1 with Leicester and 1 with Corby. But need a bit of help with tactics, roles and instructions. Any tips? Cheers.

I was Grimsby on an older version of the game, had a forward with absolutely hideous technical attributes (finishing of 7 for example) and he used to absolutely bang them in left right and centre. It was almost like having pace upped his all-round game.

It was almost like having pace upped his all-round game. Â James Constable was the daddy of non league strikers. Phsyical stats were all something like 15+ haha. Â I just let my scouts do the work to be honest, if they say the player is 3.5 stars or over for a position, I'm in.

Guest Mee-9 Posted 4 December 2015 Posted 4 December 2015 It's all gone to shit. End of my second season at Leicester, came third but a few of my players have left with clubs triggering the minimum release fee. Rulli went for 39m!
