Did some googling mate...

Whilst on the post on here it says US $ on the actual website it says R $ (Brazilian currency).

Could explain it!

...It does 1 Euro is 3.72 Brazilian Real. So €15 million is a little under R$60 million.

Case closed!

Thank **** for that! I thought the American economy had collapsed overnight, or something.

We have seen Kante, Sako, Mendy and now Aranguiz all seemingly 'reject' us in favour of staying where they are or move to other clubs, which is slightly concerning. Obviously compared to a Marseille or a Bayer Leverkusen we will never match them in an 'attraction' sense but surely we have the blueprint in place, the fans, the stadium and the league to offer anyone a good season or two.

Let's face it, we want to consolidate our position for another year and sure, we need to bring in another Cambiasso in order to have that pedigree again for the season. But, why are we not trying for ANOTHER Cambiasso type? A player who is into his 30's with European experience and still with 2 years at the highest level to give? These players who we are trying to bring in are at their peak, on a significant wage and have no desire to (in their eyes probably) drop a level in club and come over here?

A good shout would maybe Tom Huddlestone from Hull. Clearly would enjoy playing in the Premier League again. Question marks about his positional sense and would be a downgraded version of a pass master but maybe worth a cheeky £6m offer. What about Emre? Remember him? The former Newcastle midfielder has become a holding player with the ability to spray a ball. Yes he is 34 but another year in the top league in the world would maybe attract him?

Anyhow, Ranieri will probably introduce his new signing on Friday and we will all be singing Nigel De Jong's name come the Sunderland game! :)

No we haven't.  You or any of us really know who we really have bid for and rejected ourselves or been rejected by players.  Everything you have based your opinion on is media and rumours.  Nothing from the club.  So until we here real information with real sources then it is just speculation.  So let's not make up reality from lots of peoples guess, shall we.

Like the club make announcements about who they're about to do business with, or not.

yes, there's a lot of media nonsense around like Carton Cole & belated reporting of interest in Ricky Lambert from January

There are however stories with far more meat in them like Kante, Sako, Mendy etc That are far more than just moonshots in some rag

From the Instagram of one his people. Note the bit about one of them being a representative from Leicester, Anderson Perry!!?

That's right the club doesn't.  But very one on this forum is reacting to rumours and speculation from shoddy newspapers as some statement of fact.  We just don't know the truth.  Hard for fans to take, but we are jumping at shadows as we are desperate for some good news.  But that does not make what has been reported as truth,  that is what i am saying.

That is detective work that Liam Lcfc would be proud of, nice one Babs.

The bloke is on the phone to Bayer... "we have the man from Leicester here, up your offer or else".

Nice this is actually happening. I hope he doesn't outright reject us lol

I feel sorry for Anderson Perry if he does... poor bloke had to go to all the way over there. lol

So will everyone apologize to Ranieri if we pull this one off?

Only if he's any good... If not, him and Anderson Perry are getting it.

WTF is Anderson Perry?

If we pulls this off I'm going to strip in the office to reveal my leather studded cock sock, then I will proceed to helicopter until my colleagues pass out/call the police.

Could be the company he works for, could be his double barreled name. Maybe it's not even his name and he doesn't want to correct them, so he's pretending to be Mr Perry until the bloke signs.

Our accommodations officer has referred to my colleague Jo as Amy for the last 7 years. She doesn't have the heart to correct him. lol

It worries me that they are posting pictures of the negotiations, gives the impression they're trying to get the other clubs to up their bids, hope i'm wrong

Apologies for having an opinion, I forgot I was allowed to have my own and that this was an OPEN forum.

Anyways...

If Aranguiz does turn up it would be a massive coup for us and I seem to remember him having a decent 1st half in the England game that they dominated.

Good point, especially this quote.

This is the photo of yesterday's meeting on the sale of the Aránguiz #INTER . Leicester very close to hiring

Reading between the lines that could mean: If anyone wants him get your finger out and make a bid now. I'm half expecting West Ham to make an 11th hour bid.  :(

The guy with the goatee is Jorge Machado who is just listed as a Businessman across the net. Possibly the 3rd party ownership link? The place they are in is the Estádio Beira-Rio which is Aranguiz's home stadium.

I agree that it is concerning that the guy who maybe not even in football is placing these negotiation photos across the net.

Exciting tho!
