hornyhollthefox123 Posted 14 August 2015 Posted 14 August 2015 If he signs, I'm unsure whether King or Kante should partner him - King is proven at this level, but Kante has much more experience in top-flight football. King & Kante both have one year at top flight level?
MC Prussian Posted 14 August 2015 Posted 14 August 2015 Schalke fans are currently acting rather civilized on their main forum with regards to Inler. Some say it'd be his last chance at getting a decent paycheck at age 30+ and that he simply follows the money, others regret the fact that they might have missed out on him due to the lack of experience in midfield at Schalke. In general, there's a sense of uneasiness based on the notion that the Premier League clubs have hardly any competition when buying players, apart from other Premier League clubs. Most Bundesliga outfits lag behind quite a bit, because they're not that well off.

sphericalfox Posted 14 August 2015 Posted 14 August 2015 Another captain to our collection. A team of leaders. We'll be bossin it fairly soon!
Jobyfox Posted 14 August 2015 Posted 14 August 2015 Drinkwater and King will continue until a) one of them performs badly or b) one of the others comes on and performs better than they did. Once we've seen them all in action enough I'm sure the picture will become clearer. That doesn't sound like the Tinkerman!
Babylon Posted 14 August 2015 Posted 14 August 2015 That doesn't sound like the Tinkerman! Ha... true. But I'm only saying that because they would have just arrived. Need to give people time to bed in I think personally before chucking them in.
goose2010 Posted 14 August 2015 Posted 14 August 2015 Problem is will that not mean Mahrez losing his place? Away formation Kasper RDL Huth Wes Jeff King Inler DD Mahrez Albrighton Vardy
Rusko187 Posted 14 August 2015 Posted 14 August 2015 Away formation Kasper RDL Huth Wes Jeff King Inler DD Mahrez Albrighton Vardy No Kante? I thought he looked pretty good when he came on at Sunderland, didn't have a great deal of time to change the game but put a couple of key passes and swept a few things up... tidy player.

Ranieri might as well opt for a bit more experience in midfield for the "bigger" games against tougher opposition.

I agree he looked good, but its just healthy competition I would have no worries putting Hammond in a 3 man CM as well. We have players competing for position pretty much all over the pitch and great cover when we pick up injuries so far so good if you ask me regarding CR.
Jobyfox Posted 14 August 2015 Posted 14 August 2015 Away formation Kasper RDL Huth Wes Jeff King Inler DD Mahrez Albrighton Vardy My personal view is that if we’re going down the route of big, no nonsense, centre backs – then we need three of them. Sunderland scored their goals too easily and we will be caught out by better sides as it won’t be so easy to score up the other end. An away formation could be: Kasper Huth, Wes, Benalouane (or Was) Albrighton, Schlupp (wing backs) Inler, Drinkwater, King (or Kante) Okazaki, Vardy Although I have, at present, insufficient information to gauge how good some of our new recruits are going to be.
ronnup Posted 14 August 2015 Posted 14 August 2015 He's not bought Kante for the bench. He'll be regular.

See there is options and all options look strong. Currently though Mahrez has to be in our team.
