RoboFox Posted 14 August 2015 Posted 14 August 2015 Sauce - Worcester, BBQ or Ketchup? Ranch Everyone knows that's a f**king dressing you absolute ninny.
MC Prussian Posted 14 August 2015 Posted 14 August 2015 You dont sign someone like Inler and plan to sit him on the bench all season.... Neither would he come here if he suspected that would be the case.. If he signs, he'll most likely given enough time to adjust zlowly, zlowly to the new surroundings. But it is clear that he needs match practice fast - as the current Swiss national football team captain, he wants to be ready to go for the upcoming few EURO 2016 qualification matches in September, the first one taking place... at Wembley.
Grey Fox Posted 14 August 2015 Posted 14 August 2015 If we sign this bloke I don't think Drinky and Kingy will be doing much piloting in our car. Tomorrow is a big test for those two. If they pass it there is no reason to eject them just yet.
AmyLGK Posted 14 August 2015 Posted 14 August 2015 Arrggghhhhhh I've been away all morning and this still isn't announced raaaaaahhhh! Incidentally, why are people obsessed with getting to 88 pages specifically - will we travel through time...
EnglishOxide Posted 14 August 2015 Posted 14 August 2015 The barrier at the stadium was down about an hour ago. It usually means some business is going down so they don't let any old div into the car park.

ARM1968 Posted 14 August 2015 Posted 14 August 2015 Robofox - I like dressing things up, just like ITK's

norwichfox Posted 14 August 2015 Posted 14 August 2015 I think Ranieri will stick with them till Leicester slip up or show signs of a midfield weakness which'll be exploited sooner or later. I'm actually expecting them to start v West Ham and if they give an alright showing, start vs Spurs - think the Bury game would be an impressive showing for both Inler and Kante to show dominance against a weak opposition. Given that the opposition were so weak, some would consider conceding 2 goals a sign of weakness
RedSoxUK Posted 14 August 2015 Posted 14 August 2015 Given that the opposition were so weak, some would consider conceding 2 goals a sign of weakness I don't think King / Drinkwater were at fault for either or played a part in either.
dorsetboy Posted 14 August 2015 Posted 14 August 2015 I don't think King / Drinkwater were at fault for either or played a part in either. have to agree i thought we looked very shakey with a back 4 as usual i dont think jeff likes lb and with a two cb we seem to leave gaps , i know we won but i would rather go three at the back.
Bamba's Babes Posted 14 August 2015 Posted 14 August 2015 Away formation Kasper RDL Huth Wes Jeff King Inler DD Mahrez Albrighton Vardy Kante is the top tackler in Europe, how on earth are you not including him in away games?
MPH Posted 14 August 2015 Posted 14 August 2015 The barrier at the stadium was down about an hour ago. It usually means some business is going down so they don't let any old div into the car park. It was a monumental task, but i managed to walk round it when i last saw it down.. Felt quite proud...
Finn Claw II Posted 14 August 2015 Posted 14 August 2015 Surely this is edging closer if it is on the Guardian?

But it is clear that he needs match practice fast - as the current Swiss national football team captain, he wants to be ready to go for the upcoming few EURO 2016 qualification matches in September, the first one taking place... at Wembley. And that would be the right thing to do.... But i would be bringing him on with 30 minutes to go for a couple of games....
MC Prussian Posted 14 August 2015 Posted 14 August 2015 Inler wears the number 88 shirt His favourite zong is "Achtundachtzig Luftballons!" by Nena.
benpicko Posted 14 August 2015 Posted 14 August 2015 Not sure how you can say that when they called Kante and Kramaric way before any other news source. Because they announce the news as fact when they're still rumours. They announced Aránguiz as a fact as well
bald reynard Posted 14 August 2015 Posted 14 August 2015 In the Austin thread, there is a quote from Claudio saying he hopes to sign 2 midfielders. Inler might not be the last !
dbtcity Posted 14 August 2015 Posted 14 August 2015 In the Austin thread, there is a quote from Claudio saying he hopes to sign 2 midfielders. Inler might not be the last !I imagine it would be a wide midfielder rather than another cm, if we're going to keep schlupp as a lb we are pretty thin on wingers
Dylster Posted 14 August 2015 Posted 14 August 2015 Yeah, I think we definitely need some cover in the wide midfielder positions.
Guest Col city fan Posted 14 August 2015 Posted 14 August 2015 Just been announced on TalkSport that we are about to sign Inler for 5 mill?
Grey Fox Posted 14 August 2015 Posted 14 August 2015 If we get Inler I reckon the other could be someone else who can add a few goals from the middle, either out wide or central. Maybe someone else along Mahrez lines? Maybe that's why he's happy with 4 strikers, but he still wants an extra goal threat?
Wymsey Posted 14 August 2015 Posted 14 August 2015 Passing Very Strong Long shots Strong Aerial Duels Strong Ball interception Strong 'Likes to play long balls' 'Commits fouls often' For me, based on this - Inler will need to play between defence and midfield . He has potential, for the squad, to set up additional attacks - different from Mahrez and Albrighton. I'd like him to play BEHIND both King and Kante; as Kante sounds similar to Inler whilst King is more attack-minded imo. The danger of Inler playing too deep, is that he's probably going to be a danger with his aggressive-style in front of the defence and give 'just outside-the-box' opportunities.
bald reynard Posted 14 August 2015 Posted 14 August 2015 Maybe Armarty is still on the radar? Isn't he a defender ?
