Are we actually in for this guy,the reason I say this, is that Aranguiz has come out and said Bayern Leverkusen were the only team to show an interest in him.

Whatever happened to approaching clubs and asking for permission to speak to a certain player, it looks like to me, we just put a bid in and that's it.

This can't be right seeing as we bidded for him and forced Bayer to stomp up more cash, clearly we showed an interest by putting in a bid.

They have a bit of a point with the TV money distorting the market.   S04 have something like a 60,000 capacity stadium and a pretty good history.  They are a 'bigger' club than us.

Up his wages and see what happens...

It's a 'derogatory' 'offensive' term yes, but not racist.

In the context of racist being an  adjective and not a noun ( its both), it could be considered racist

For those who speak German, here's a rather unflattering take on us re. the Aranguiz and Inler deals. Hints that LCFC is a regional non-entity punching above its weight on the transfer market and which, I quote, has become "an irritant which doesn't know where to spend its TV money".

Don't know where to spend our money, clearly we do and it's in the same place they want to spend theirs.

It's on News now Leicester(hitc sport),I could be wrong and he meant Leverkusen were the only team he would sign for,or we just put bid in and left it to the agents to sort it out, very confusing these days.

Foxes Talk will be shut down next time a Leicester player says something wrong.

The connotations associated with the term Kraut are far far worse than those associated with the term Jap; especially seeing as the word Kraut formed out of a stereotype - Jap was quite literally an affectionate term before being twisted by the USA used to demonise those of Japanese origin, turned into a stereotype because of the war.

Either way I think we're safe to say kraut without getting arrested.

Err what? It was posted on road signs as early as 1905 in America - way before any war.. far from demonizing those of Japanese origin... its was than popularized during the 2nd world war as a phrase by newspapers from both sides of the atlantic....

You lot must be bored now, weve had choppers and now we're on to Japan!

Would now be a bad time to post the supplies gif?

Selling club uses rich PL side to screw more dosh out of German club

Gonna become a regular thing methinks

It could be the the other way around. I mean has the German club offically come up with this 7 million offer ? Or is the selling club just trying to screw more dosh from the rich PL side?

And any high profile German club will start getting pissed off with the "no mark" English clubs as they have a higher prestige but less cash.

We may be.

However I'm almost against this guy now. Being only here for the money is not a good thing end of.

The problem is we have no other options it seems.

Ffs!

I agree. However i'm sure lots of players at Man City came for money but then settled in.

I think many people are overrating the standing of LCFC in the european football business, especially compared with clubs like Leverkusen. They maybe don't have the big money, but they have an excellent reputation. Ballack, Berbatov, Lucio, Vidal, Kroos, Carvajal are only a few names who had their breakthrough there and currently they have an ambitious squad full of young highclass talents, who maybe will play CL. Money is nothing, when you can't show the players a perspective. And we can't!
