Really nice to hear some people on here took the opportunity to see what SK1 was about, nice one!

In fact there were loads of new faces up there which was good.... Most around me didn't make a peep though, which was bad.

Fingers crossed for better vs Stoke but I would say if you enjoyed it, email/message Union FS and ask them if they can help relocate your season ticket!

Well that's a good sign! My season ticket is in J3 and haver heard you guys well from there throughout the season. Noise wise wasn't great today but still kept going for the 90. Would be great to get back in there for a league game sometime. Do you get people in there who don't sing for league games? Like I say, was on the back row - PP, and the 2 guys next to me literally stood there all game with their arms crossed not saying a word apart from slagging our players off...

Would say most in and around that part of SK1 are joining in at least half the time. Sadly a few just seem to want to be there to be seen, but hey ho maybe they'll change their ways.

Bloke next to me had moved over from L1 last night to see what it was all about and seemed to enjoy it. Think the myth about the clappers has been proven once and for all now mind...

Normally sit in SK1 but due to faffing around with whether I was going or not, I ended up having to get tickets at the back of SK4.

I understand its a cup game and you're going to get day trippers etc but I couldn't believe how negative most of our fans were.

Went with a couple of mates who don't normally go to the games, so was mainly stood singing by myself for the majority of the game only to receive tuts, sighs or being told to shut up.

While this didnt bother me and I continued to sing for the rest of the game, in about the 80th minuet some bloke in front of me actually turned around me telling me "If I didn't shut my racket he'd rip my tongue out".

I asked him if he had ever been to a football game before and then continued to sing even louder to back the team, which was obviously needed tonight!

The best part is that he actually waited at the bottom of the stairs for me to come down (he left with about 5mins to go and I stayed until after the final whistle) just to offer me outside for a fight...

Felt like I was in an away end for the majority of the game.

Unfortunately SK1 and the Union FS lads have really spoiled me in terms of what I accept the atmosphere to be like...

I think that's the worst thing I've ever read. Unreal.

Anyone at the top of SK1 see mini Jack Grealish join in with Spurs' "you're ****ing shit" chant? I would have knee'd him in the back if I was behind him. Little cvnt.

Oh, my member title, 'SK1 Tourist' is a little stab at the guys who buy match tickets up there to experience the atmosphere and just stand there with their hands in their pockets.

I'm usually positive about the atmosphere but last night I was actually quite disappointed I took my younger brother (12) who only gets to a couple of games a season due to ticket availability and things like that and he was trying his best along with me to sing and try to get a little bit of noise going but whenever we did we were greeted with confused looks by the majority of fans around us. I'm a season ticket holder sitting in row dd sk2 behind the goal and decided to get the tickets last night closer to the pitch almost directly in front of my normal seats in row e and it felt like I was in a different stadium. Back to our normal bouncing atmosphere against stoke please.

I don't understand why everyone on this thread who says that they try and get songs going in various parts of the ground, don't just move over to SK1...  :dunno:

This.

If every person in this thread who says they sing and no one else around them joins in just moved to the back of SK1 we'd be laughing!

Did Chilwell get the one of our own chant given to him?

He's not one of our own though, unless it's purely based on coming through the academy. He's from Milton Keynes and doesn't appear to want to stay much longer.

Spurs doing "one of our own" for Kane is pure embarrassing given the lad supported Arsenal as a kid.

Think the whole song's a bit hackneyed and uninventive myself. Absolute last resort chant for a homegrown player.

Highlight for me was doing the drum for the first 5 minutes. Apologies for any out of time beats ;)

Atmosphere was little dissapointing but that's probably due to how high we've set the bar. Agree with the points being made about the clappers. Novelty is wearing off. Ruined too many chants with just clapping along to nothing.

Hopefully we'll create a good atmosphere tomorrow. We know the difference we make and what we are capable of in terms of being the team's 12th man. Ranieri's blue army comes to mind, we kept that chant going for ages at one of the games, loved it and I think constant support and chanting like that is needed no matter what the scoreline is, although a winning scoreline would of course be preferable.  :scarf:

Clappers need to go now, sooner hear 200 people chanting than 25k clapping.

But sometimes the clappers help with increasing the chants, depending on the song being played.

Let's get back to the league atmosphere that's served us so well...I sat in east stand for cup match as opposed to my usual SK1 seat and I was looked down upon for singing! What is it with fans that don't like singing!?

C'mon everyone. Let's have it loud today. Clappers or not - help the volume lift the roof off. I sense the players need our 12th man support today. 100% from the start.

So proud of the City fans and the atmosphere created at the KP. Its a great place to be a part of what being created.

Had the misfortune to go to a Derby game lately and it was like sitting in a morgue for 90 mins !

Blue Army, now and forever
