If you have the away fans moaning about the home support you've done your job and there were a few meltdowns on social media last night from West Ham.

Must've done a pretty good job then :P

Definitely one of the better games for atmosphere this season, thought the West Ham fans were shite to be honest. Lets hope those of us going Middlesbrough tomorrow make some noise as well.

Players started like they really wanted it, fans responded despite some nervy spells. Thoroughly enjoyed it.

Exactly. The players started well with intensity, therefore the fans responded. Thought it was one of our better atmosphere's in recent games.

The fact that we pressed from the start and started with a high intensity gave the fans something to go at! Much improved atmosphere yesterday and West Ham fans were the worst we've had down here all season I reckon.

That's the thing- I don't care if we lose as long as we've had a go.

Still getting quizzical looks for singing at an away game.

Today I noticed a couple of people spend most of the game turning away from the pitch to stare in disgust and shake their heads at a few lads who were banging the advertising boards half way up, as if these lads were aliens.

If only we were as good as Chrystal Palace, eh

Unbelievable, Jeff

Well, he is not going to say, "I came here because I want to play instead of warming the bench, because I cant get into the first team at Leicester," probably just reading from the  prepared notes given to him by his agent, though I'm surprised he never got them mixed up with his shopping list.lol

Fare well Jeff and good luck apart from when you play against us.

This is an evening kickoff (more time in the pub), it's a massive game for us, Chelsea are massive favourites but with the events of the past 24 hours, they're there to be got at, our results and performances have picked up recently and we're on TV.

If we can't make this the best home atmosphere of the season, we don't deserve any kind of plaudits or for anyone to  call us loud. We as fans need to be bang up for this.

thought we were superb yesterday despite the shit on the pitch. best atmosphere of the season?

It was really subdued yesterday after about 15/20 minutes but at least there were no boo's what so ever, personally I think the fans were just as confused as some of the players with what formation we were trying to play after the substitutions started.

I think most peeps turn up now with a resigned nature, similar to when we were fighting relegation in the middle of our first season back up.

Yeah, I know you were probably being sarcastic :)

Wasn't at the game but I will reiterate what I said before, if the team shows effort and purpose we will get behind them. Recently we have become too defensive and its hard to keep singing when the team hasn't touched the ball for 5 minutes and are camped in our own half. What stood out to me and to the commentators though is when we first went behind instantly the crowed started cheering and clapping, trying to spur the team on much like just before the great escape. It would be great if the whole crowd sang for 90 minutes and I respect those that do but its just not possible and I will compare the crowd to Vardy this season. Last year he was chasing down everything which in turn caused the rest of the team to chase down everything. This year he isn't doing so to the same extent so the rest of the team don't close down.

The crowd support the team at the start (I have heard not so much yesterday but can't confirm as wasn't there), its up to the team then to put the effort in from the off to keep it up, sitting off teams instead of closing down quickly like the great escape doesn't help anyone. Im hoping that its just Ranieri's tactics which can be changed and not the team putting there feet up after winning the league.

Its not about winning or losing games which make supporters sing (Although it usually goes hand in hand) its about the effort from the team and trying to win games. Thats my take on it anyway.

we should copy the sevilla fans & constantly boo the opposition team when they have the ball. must have been intimidating for our players surely.

Good fans are considered to be the twelth player for a team. It's very important to have that twelft player in the second leg against Sevilla.
Lately it has been so much negativism - both for Claudio, some of the players and for the whole team, Bear in mind that this may give a minus one effect, so the team plays with 10 men instead of 12.
