we should copy the sevilla fans & constantly boo the opposition team when they have the ball. must have been intimidating for our players surely.

We'll if there's one sound most of our lot who never open their mouths otherwise can manage it's that...

And here's me thinking they were booing and whistling at their own players for not being good enough to get the ball back from us lol

I'm up in SK1 and I'm guessing you are as you're a prominent member of UFS. I'm yet to hear any booing that wasn't obviously directed at the opposition/referee.

We're in the shit at the minute and the last thing we need as a fan base is an 'us v them' mentality when it comes to UFS and the rest of the fans. It will just breed resentment.

It was a sarky comment mate. Not sure how that's breeding an "us v them" mentality? Nothing better than when the whole ground's going for it together, whatever noise they're making.

Will the kop stand?

Hopefully more will, don't think I will see the day that Leicester get the full kop end standing with the layout of our ground and fanbase currently.

Shame, big European nights at anfield the kop always stand. Creates a better atmosphere.

We could give the players that extra 1% boost if we get the place rocking, and football is a game of fine margins. This could be the last time you hear the CL music, give it your all. CHAAAAARRRRGGGEEEE

We gonna have two pages of people trying to gee other people up on a forum for a UCL match like it'll make a difference?

The atmosphere will be extraordinary as long as we're in it (i/e the start of the game and as long as it stays 0-0 or within one or two goals.) If Atleti kill the game the atmosphere will be stone dead. I can't wait for the buzz and what we're going to witness, it'll be electric.

Mercury and social media should be encouraging the ground to be full early to make the atmosphere as loud and as intimidating as possible.

The lads will 100% need us on Tuesday for clubs biggest game in its history....

Nervous but can't wait ....COYB

Anyone else think our away atmosphere in Madrid was awful btw?

Can that be called an atmosphere?

Worst for a long time but in a 55k stadia with no roof over us it was always going to be tough but it was truly dreadful.

Club need to play lsf to get us going

Disagree.

Club foot before sevilla was class. Got people up for it. LSF in the stands on our our own accord was class. Don't need the public address system (tannoy is a brand name) dictating what we chant, or attempting to force something upon us.

Wasn't there admittedly but always found this a weak excuse. There are plenty of open stadia which host great atmospheres across Europe week in, week out.

It'd be nice if 'When you're smiling' was played before the game instead of Hey Jude. I understand that people go to the game with different intentions, some go and want to play an active part in the atmosphere, whilst some go just for the purpose of watching the game, which is fine. The issue is that there's often conflict between people wanting to stand, sing, wave flags etc. and people just wanting to go and watch the game. I think if we had a dedicated section such as SK1 where people know that this is the singing section and if you simply just want to watch the game, then you can arrange to switch places with those that want to be involved in creating an atmosphere, that would be best.

Yes

Thank god it wasn't just me, was completely shocked at the lack of any chanting. Admittedly this was the first European away day I have had the chance to do this season and was expecting at least something from us, look across the away end and there was barely any effort to make any noise, everyone just seemed tired
