shailen Posted 15 August 2015 Posted 15 August 2015 Tottenham are like a poor mans United. They know how to grind out results despite playing poorly. It was actually a joke we didn't get any points from them last year.
RedSoxUK Posted 15 August 2015 Posted 15 August 2015 I agree apart from Mahrez on the wing. Have him behind the strikers in a free role, Schlupp and Albrighton on the wings. Go back to Was - Wes - Huth I would have that, but can't see Ranieri changing a thing. We'll see Mahrez cut inside from the right and Albrighton from the left, our players seem to have grown in intelligent plays over the last 7-8 months, love it.
stillwater Posted 15 August 2015 Posted 15 August 2015 When CR was appointed, SkyBet offered odds of 25/1 for Leicester to win their first three matches, Had a crafty tenner on. more as a show of backing for CR than anything else, Come on city one more win
Dickov22 Posted 15 August 2015 Posted 15 August 2015 RDL out, Albrighton to play more defensively and Kante in. Otherwise same side
sdb Posted 15 August 2015 Posted 15 August 2015 We deserved points off them last season so hopefully this will be payback. Keep Kane quiet and we're in with a shout
EnglishOxide Posted 15 August 2015 Posted 15 August 2015 Spurs will be easier than West Ham. We arguably outplayed them two or three times last season.
Donut Posted 15 August 2015 Posted 15 August 2015 Kane went off with an icepack on his ankle, and if they dont get another striker in and hes not fit theyre not looking good. All runs come to an end at some point. Spurs havent won and will be up for it, we have had two great wins. Im thinking a 1-1 draw might be on the cards here. Hope for 3 from 3 though.

It was actually a joke we didn't get any points from them last year. I think one of the things id least attribute to Spurs is "grinding out results". Flat track bullies is what id call them. Get a goal up and their tails wag, their tidy players like Eriksen, Chadli, Lamela can look good. When their backs are against the wall, their heads go down and they just cannot respond.
gerrytaggart Posted 15 August 2015 Posted 15 August 2015 Spurs are there for the taking. Good time to play them atm, they dont look settled and we are flying.
foxes_rule1978 Posted 15 August 2015 Posted 15 August 2015 Spurs will be ripped a new a... you get what I'm saying
AJSLCFC Posted 16 August 2015 Posted 16 August 2015 RDL out, Albrighton to play more defensively and Kante in. Otherwise same side I'd rather play Benalouane in a back 3 with Schlupp and Albrighton as wing backs and have mahrez behind shinji and Vardy
Guest Col city fan Posted 16 August 2015 Posted 16 August 2015 It's essential now to not get spanked by Spurs. We are riding the crest of a wave at present...King and Drinkwater have shone so far, perhaps because they are finally getting their chance to consistently play. The momentum must be maintained, the confidence retained. A good performance v Spurs is crucial to continuing along this same vein. If we get tonked, the belief may well go pretty quickly. We need more of the same and even if we don't win, it's important to not lose this one.
FireFox Posted 16 August 2015 Posted 16 August 2015 4-1. Eriksen early. Drinkwater before halftime. Then Okazaki, Mahrez, and Fuchs.

weller54 Posted 16 August 2015 Author Posted 16 August 2015 http://www.thefightingcock.co.uk/forum/threads/leicester-away-saturday-3-pm.15244/ They're shitting themselves... And rightly so!
ThingsCouldGetMessi Posted 16 August 2015 Posted 16 August 2015 Never really sure what to make of Spurs. They are in theory better than 70% of the teams in the division but I don't think they are actually that much ahead. On paper they have a good team but a lot of their players only seem to turn it on once in a while. Harry Kane was their saving grace last season with 21 PL goals and won them a good number of points but he always had that form and confidence behind him. Let's see how he does when he goes 6 games without a goal especially now he has the added pressure of expectancy on him. I think if he is not firing then Spurs will be big under-achievers. I won't be surprised at all if we win this, get too far ahead of ourselves and then lose at Bournemouth the week after.
Lestoh Posted 16 August 2015 Posted 16 August 2015 Same again please, Claudio! Attack first half, bag a couple of goals, rotate to keep control in midfield for the second. Would really like to see Inler come in for this one, think the experience would be invaluable when it comes to keeping possession.
foxfanazer Posted 16 August 2015 Posted 16 August 2015 Feeling pretty good about this one. If theres one thing we blitz Spurs on is fight. They seem to only have one gear so if we get at them early on and don't let droopy boss us we should be fine
Guest Mickyblueeyes Posted 16 August 2015 Posted 16 August 2015 I do think we look weak at the back with just the four. We can play the same way and players but with three at the back. Kasper Delaet/Yohann Wes Huth Albrighton Schlupp Drinkwater King Mahrez Vardy Okazaki Same again - 2-0
