Now comparing, Henderson, Wiltshire, Delph, with Barclay, I like Barclay, but stupid comparisons. FFs , one shot and Wrighty and Hoddle reckon Vardy should of been more alert, just stupid useless singling out non-event analyse . Like they scored 20 rebounds..!!!

What would you rather, vardy be on the bench or most likely not go to the euros as a main striker. Or go as a bench impact player in the sterling/Walcott role. Vardy - 7 goals in 8 games Rooney, Sturridge, Kane, Walcott, Ings - 5 goals in about 30. Yeah, clearly not the best goal scorer around.

If he's not being played as a striker he shouldn't be playing (and he certainly shouldn't be playing second fiddle to Kane who has one own goal and one offside goal to his name in the league this season.) It's irrelevant if Kane has done ok against Lithuania. People are pissed off because his form hasn't warranted a central striking role for England whereas Vardy's has and yet he's being fobbed off.

Sterling will play on the left, backed up by Welbeck if he's fit, Vardy will do well to make the 25 unless he finishes the season with 20+ goals and forces Roy hand!

Wing or not, this is his chance to put a marker down and he's just hid behind his man. He will never suit England anyway, and who really cares?? Its only England. If Woy had any sense, he'd go 4-1-2-1-2 and leave the full backs to create the width. But he won't. Funny thing is against the better sides England will have much less of the ball, and will have to be a counter attacking side, which is right up Vardy's street!

If he is then we should be worried as he'll be wanting £100k a year+ As someone has said the best he'll be for England is an impact sub. He needs to forget he's playing for England and just play his normal game

It's embarrassing. Vardys had a good last four months as well at the same level, and when they've played in the championship Vardy has done better. Kanes got the potential to be better than Vardy but is he now? No, he's an ok lower half striker who had one Andy Johnson spell. Wouldn't be shocked if his career took a similar trajectory either.
