He looks a little lost in the passing we are trying tonight and the match is passing him by. Wouldn't say he has done anything wrong, he looks like it his first game within the squad and lacking a little confidence. Hopefully he picks up second half and gets the 90 under his belt

What would you rather, vardy be on the bench or most likely not go to the euros as a main striker. Or go as a bench impact player in the sterling/Walcott role.

I agree with all that and I did call him a greedy twat for not passing to Vardy out wide and limply shooting wide. But he has been direct and got shots away and that led to a goal.

Wing or not, this is his chance to put a marker down and he's just hid behind his man. He will never suit England anyway, and who really cares?? Its only England. If Woy had any sense, he'd go 4-1-2-1-2 and leave the full backs to create the width. But he won't.

Stop making excuses for his poor performance 4 years ago, at a different level, and the focus was still on feeding him and letting him drive inside. Massive difference to being played effectively as a defensive winger to pack the midfield. For the past 4 years though he's been a central striker and he's been absolute class at it for a season, then for the past 6 months after a bit of an adjustment. But, why when you've got the divisions top scorer, a player in shit-hot form as a main striker, would you just chuck him out wide to accommodate the out of form. He's not playing his normal game, but he's clearly under instructions not to, normally he'd be closing any ball that was 20-80 against him down, instead he's just sort of wandering round with no impetuous, dropping deep to try and find something. That they're not feeding any of his runs in favour of taking a speculative shot doesn't help either.
