I think starting with the line 'having secured you a place in Roy Hodgson's England squad at the age of 35 on football manager' may just sway it for me!

But seriously WTF if I was his close family I would be a bit annoyed by the fact he needs reminders setting up for birthdays, mothers day and anniversary's!

Amazing, I'd be surprised if they manage to dress themselves every morning, strange to think a lof of footballers come from relatively poor backgrounds, you'd think they would be a bit more grounded but most seem completely detached from reality and don't want to lift a finger.

What's the problem? He wants someone to organise his life and he's prepared to pay a good salary to do it. If it was anyone but a footballer no one would bat an eyelid.

There isn't a problem I'm sure someone (lots of people actually) would love that job.

I don't know what's funnier - that he seems to be calling his family Defoe Enterprises (its not a business) or the idea of a Jermain defoe office

He will have set himself up as a business for tax reasons, and just funding this through the company, again for tax reasons.

Most of it is fair enough, but a little cringe worthy in places (I'm sure he should sort out his own damn birthday's, and marketing a Jermaine Defoe fragrance? ). Considering the responsibilities it entails, the experience needed and the fact that I imagine it's in London, I'd also probably want a bit more than 50k.

Agreed, not sure why people think that's good money for the amount of work involved. You're basically organising his whole life.

What's the issue? Same duties more or less that other PAs have and he can afford one.

My boss at work has a PA, she looks after family affairs such as birthdays, booking holidays, days out etc...
