Should we be worried by these stats?

"However, it's not all good news for the Foxes. Out of the 20 Premier League teams, they are last in possession, passing accuracy and number of successful passes completed."

It just demonstrates our style of play. It's seems we like to play hot potato on the pitch.

Possession doesn't equal success. As does the number of successful passes completed. We won more than we've lost so far, so that should be testament to our abilities to capitalize on the fewer chances that we allegedly tend to create.

I was thinking that as long as our counterattack keeps working as well as it has, I won't worry about possession stats.  I would like to see our passing accuracy numbers come up, though.

Last week vs west ham was their man utd game, remember what happened to us after man utd?

They lost villa (villa ffs) and looked very poor against Liverpool (despite two dodgy decisions). The goals they conceded at West Ham were very soft, not exactly sure why anyone would be worried about them.

Who said we create fewer chances? Just cos we don't pass the ball aimlessly around in our own half for most of the game like most Prem teams doesn't mean we don't have lots of clear shots on goal. I'd argue that we definitely had more clear shots on goal than Spurs despite their 66% possession.

All that said, I hope that we're not going to become more defensive under CR. The Spurs game was a bit worrying in that sense but I'm giving him the benefit of the doubt and putting that down to tactics for that specific game and the heat making it hard to play at our normal high tempo.

Think this game will be tricky. I'd be delighted with a win but wouldn't be unhappy with a point. Playing away at a promoted team early in the season before their confidence has been broken is never ideal.

As for team selection, I'd like to see Kante start. He looks really impressive. Not sure who I'd leave out, though!

The Spurs game was and not that car crash of a second half against West Ham?

Car crash of a second half in a game we won 2-1? I'd call it good game management. They might have had the possession but we restricted them to about 3 shots on target. I just don't get people sometimes.

Nah we were fortunate in the 2nd half. Stats are often misleading, they got in behind us several times down the wing and had they had a bit of luck it could have been 2 all.

I was more concerned about that (still not very concerned, but it highlighted more weaknesses) than the competitive display against Spurs who sat deep and tried to stifle our pace.

It was a car crash to watch and you can call it good game management all you want but we barely had a shot on goal that entire second half, just willing them onto us before booting it back to their keeper. If they'd got another goal and we drew we'd all be blaming the negativity on that. That time it worked but it won't work every time

Haha car crash of a second half, its called a mid-table side winning away from home.

Yes, we won but we did little else but park the bus and hoof it to the other end of the pitch for the entire second half, and were still lucky to have not drew the match. I'm not even trying to complain very much but it was hard to watch.

Think we'll win 2-0 tomorrow. First cleansheet and we'll go back to the back three.

Bournmouths best chance this season is to attack and go for games. In many ways so is ours.

They will come at us tomorrow and we do have the pace and skill to counter ruthlessly.

Still think this is a banana skin of a game.

If everything clicks right I can see us scoring three or four.

Having said all that it would not surprise me if it ended 1-0 to either side.

Bournemouth only have 1 way to play a bit like us last season and the Tinkerman will recongise this as it's pretty obvious, so I can see us breaking quite a lot and if we take our chances then we should win this comfortably, a clean sheet would be nice highly unlikely though.

Marhez sure to be on fire along with Albrighton and Vardy so we should cause them problems, only change I would make is to bring in Kante deserves to start in place of King, harsh on King as hes done well but Kante is a better player.

1-4 Marhez x 2 Okazaki, Vardy.

We were breaking 4 on 2 just before payet scored, if albrighton played a better ball it would of been 3-0, game over.

Also 'lucky' to not draw is a bit of an exaggeration, they only had the sakho chance, we also had the big drinky chance as well as the break i was referring to.

We were 2-0 up, and ranieri took the 'italian' approach, which proved successful.
