Great Boos Up Posted 27 August 2015 Posted 27 August 2015 Vardy to pester and run their defence like an annoying wasp for 80 minutes. Dodoo on, dances through and walks the ball into the net 86 minutes after a horrendous Boruc error.
Lionheart10 Posted 27 August 2015 Posted 27 August 2015 2-2 our biggest test yet, they will come at us the same way we'll go at them.
Xen Posted 27 August 2015 Posted 27 August 2015 2-2 our biggest test yet, they will come at us the same way we'll go at them. That may be, but we're better at it than they are. High scoring game, 2-4 win I reckon.
Foxymcoxy Posted 27 August 2015 Posted 27 August 2015 It's easy to say it's our biggest test yet after we've gone unbeaten in the others. In reality it isn't our biggest test yet. Doesn't mean it won't be our worst result.
MattGamble92 Posted 27 August 2015 Posted 27 August 2015 It's easy to say it's our biggest test yet after we've gone unbeaten in the others. In reality it isn't our biggest test yet. Doesn't mean it won't be our worst result. You sound happy
PAULCFC Posted 27 August 2015 Posted 27 August 2015 Anyone know of any pubs down that way that will be showing the game,as we booked up the weekend in Poole before the tickets got sold!
Legend_in_blue Posted 27 August 2015 Posted 27 August 2015 If they come at us, it will suit us. I'd expect a hefty scoreline in our favour tbh.
Foxymcoxy Posted 27 August 2015 Posted 27 August 2015 You sound happy Don't see how I sound happy or otherwise. Just calling it how I see it, I think Spurs at home and West Ham away are both tougher tests than Bournemouth away. The caveat was I'm not saying it's a free 3 points or anything like that.
EnglishOxide Posted 27 August 2015 Posted 27 August 2015 You sound happy He's right. Spurs and West Ham away are tougher games on paper. Bournemouth are essentially us but one year behind, whilst our defence is leaky theirs is leakier. Whilst their attack is dangerous we've got that and more. We should be winning this and I'd probably be disappointed with a point tbh.
Swalker Posted 27 August 2015 Posted 27 August 2015 Bournemouth are essentially us from last season, it will be interesting to see how far we've improved from last season because last season us vs them this season would have a 1-1 draw written all over it
demon_dog Posted 27 August 2015 Posted 27 August 2015 On paper our toughest test yet. However we have strengthened midfield and defence. So hopefully a win or at worst a draw.
Foxile Posted 28 August 2015 Posted 28 August 2015 I'm going to say this will be called off after 25 minutes for bad weather and/or floodlight failure.
st albans fox Posted 28 August 2015 Posted 28 August 2015 I'm going to say this will be called off after 25 minutes for bad weather and/or floodlight failure. Floodlight failure at 3-30 in August? it's going to have to be pretty grim on the south coast for them to need floodlights at that time. remember the rain at Portsmouth all those years ago? I'd take the same result!
Captain... Posted 28 August 2015 Posted 28 August 2015 On paper our toughest test yet. However we have strengthened midfield and defence. So hopefully a win or at worst a draw.Has toughest test yet replaced must win game as our motto* for this season? This isn't our toughest test on paper, or any other medium, on paper this is one of our easiest games. Bournemouth are decent and are coming off the back of a win where they were gifted 3 goals by some ridiculous West Ham defending. Their much vaunted attacking ability got them 0 goals in their first 2 games their only home game so far they lost 1-0 to Villa letting Rudy Gestede score. They shouldn't be underestimated nor taken lightly, but this is not our toughest game yet. *by motto I obviously mean trite cliche trotted out before every game.
SecretPro Posted 28 August 2015 Posted 28 August 2015 I thought West Ham away (bogey team) and Spurs at home were our toughest tests not some seaside relegation fodder?
sylofox Posted 28 August 2015 Posted 28 August 2015 A tough test then we might as well give up now. No game is easy in the prem I know but people are really putting this game above spurs and wham. Every other team in the prem will be looking at this game as a must win and most will win. Our Championship side should have enough for this game to get at least a draw.
DennisNedry Posted 28 August 2015 Posted 28 August 2015 Bournemouth's style of play should suit us. If it's a game of simply trying to outscore each other and caution thrown to the wind then we have the superior quality to come out on top.
ARM1968 Posted 28 August 2015 Posted 28 August 2015 Let's hope we all love to be beside the seaside beside the sea. Clean sheet and score three.
Sol thewall Bamba Posted 28 August 2015 Posted 28 August 2015 A lot of faith on show here this morning! Of course I'd love to smash them but I think this will be much much harder than most are predicting!
weller54 Posted 28 August 2015 Posted 28 August 2015 They will definitely score 1 or 2 against us as they look dangerous up front.. But naive at the back which plays into our counter attacking style of play.. Lots of goals in this one for sure... ...Therefore a nailed on 0-0 coming up!
Julian Joachim Jr Shabadoo Posted 28 August 2015 Posted 28 August 2015 Lawro has it down for a 1-1 draw, "The Cherries will give Leicester a real test" Nailed-on 6-0 win for us then
Jazzy_Jeff Posted 28 August 2015 Posted 28 August 2015 Gonna be a tough game, no doubt about it. Hopefully their attacking intent will play into our hands and suit our counter attacking style. Would like to see Kante come in for Drinky. Otherwise unchanged.
ramboacdc Posted 28 August 2015 Posted 28 August 2015 this is one of them games where if we win we achieve nothing but if we lose we lose a lot! Bournemouth beat west ham, we beat west ham, some shite team from whoknowswhere beat west ham. its not that Bournemouth are good its that west ham are rubbish this season! we play like we have we can get a win here. 2-0. the cherries are a strong team but we are stronger.
