les-tah Posted 15 March 2016 Posted 15 March 2016 kante was unreal again.. but didnt look like he was out of 2nd gear... which is crazy
les-tah Posted 15 March 2016 Posted 15 March 2016 https://m.youtube.com/watch?v=NRyj_Fsjtdk What a player even better when we see last nights game!
foxes161 Posted 15 March 2016 Posted 15 March 2016 N'Golo Kante covered more distance (11.82km) and completed more sprints (71) than any other player last night.
Thracian Posted 15 March 2016 Posted 15 March 2016 With Drinkwater misfiring and King not in the squad to help out, Kante was vital last night and was his usual extraordinary self. I'd even say to my son Steve, sitting next to me, "Watch Kante nick this" and he did, time after time. He just picks the perfect moments to pounce, often homing in on the blindside. He's so clever and manoueverable. Probably our most consistent player since he became established and a genuine 90-minuter. He never seems to need a break. Terrific.
Guest CityFan 06 Posted 15 March 2016 Posted 15 March 2016 Another very impressive display from him last night. His energy is continuous for the full 90. He's absolutely key to us every game. He can cross, he has quick feet, vision, distribution of the ball in a range of lengths across the field, tackles, defends, attacks. He literally has all the attributes of a world class CM. One of the best overall players I've seen as a City fan.
queensguardfox Posted 15 March 2016 Posted 15 March 2016 He made so many forward passes trying to force an attack. MOTM for me. Give him a new contract in the summer. Anything he wants name the stadium after him if he really wants it. I'd have him over two EC any day of the week. Take a bow.

J.Lisemore Posted 15 March 2016 Posted 15 March 2016 I genuinely can't think of a footballer in the world that is as or more consistent at breaking up the play, at £5.6M this is bordering on Mahrez kind of bargain. Easily one of the best signings we've ever made in LCFC history.
ithuriel Posted 15 March 2016 Posted 15 March 2016 Kante reminds me of that Harry Enfield Arsenal v's Liverpool sketch where the ball is glued to the players foot. Wow, even has the Arsenal attitude to player fitness in that old sketch
Guest Col city fan Posted 15 March 2016 Posted 15 March 2016 Genuinely struggling to think of any City player in my lifetime who has more of a direct influence on how we play. Kante is CRUCIAL to our success. Last night again, over and over again he broke up their play and thwarted attacks further up the field. He is utterly superb at this.
FoxonMaui Posted 15 March 2016 Posted 15 March 2016 Never in my life have I ever seen a defensive midfielder even close to the talent of N'Golo . Ferguson if he was still the United boss would probably break the bank to get him and then he would build his team around him for a decade of silverware. If you focus on him during a game you will notice that his anticipation of the game is uncanny. He also has the quickest feet and the fastest speed in a short sprint to the point where he leaves everyone else in a state of suspended slow motion. Incredibly he seems to get stronger as the game goes on every time. He is the complete article already defensively and is getting better with his distribution. We should pay him whatever he wants as he is the kind of player dynasties are built around. Sir Alex is no mug.
Countryfox Posted 15 March 2016 Posted 15 March 2016 You bought him from my team and we miss him! Tough. Build a bridge and get over it pal.
Max Power Posted 15 March 2016 Posted 15 March 2016 He barely looked tired when he walked in at FT on tunnel cam. He's an absolute phenomenon
weller54 Posted 15 March 2016 Posted 15 March 2016 just imagine 11 Kantes in one team. The goalkeeper would get lobbed quite a lot and wouldn't command his six yard box!
SpinneyHillRanger Posted 15 March 2016 Posted 15 March 2016 The thing I love about having someone like kante, is the opposition can't do anything about him. Not like you can put 3 players on him like teams have done to mahrez. In fact, with kante its a catch22 for teams... The better they play and have the ball, the more kante comes into it and wins/intercepts more balls. The guy should be priority to keep in the summer.
filbertstreet Posted 15 March 2016 Posted 15 March 2016 just imagine 11 Kantes in one team. don't need to imagine, that's basically what it is now
Foxxed Posted 15 March 2016 Posted 15 March 2016 I have a phenomenal man crush on Kanté, I can't lie.
Beliall Posted 15 March 2016 Posted 15 March 2016 The goalkeeper would get lobbed quite a lot and wouldn't command his six yard box!
dbtcity Posted 15 March 2016 Posted 15 March 2016 I honestly think we'd still be competing next season if any player left bar him, he's the most important cog in our team!!! The lad is basically 2 players, I've never seen a player like him in my life time he's such a joy to watch I don't think he'd be the type of player to kick up a fuss if an elite club came calling for him and we rejected either so hopefully we have a good few years of him bossing our midfield
desertfox2 Posted 15 March 2016 Posted 15 March 2016 We actually have a player that is the best in the world in his position, playing for us. had to stop and think to let that sink in when writing that. He would be in a world 11. Can't we find a long lost relative somewhere to make him English??? I'll volunteer to adopt him
desertfox2 Posted 15 March 2016 Posted 15 March 2016 The goalkeeper would get lobbed quite a lot and wouldn't command his six yard box! Kramaric's dream keeper
Gerard Posted 15 March 2016 Posted 15 March 2016 From NBC commentary on last night's game. "When Newcastle's players get home tonight, they might expect to see Kante at the door waiting for them"

Hand him a British passport and be done with it. Next stop the national team!
