lgfualol Posted 20 September 2015 Posted 20 September 2015 Coquelin might be out so they could be playing Arteta which is good for us.
ARM1968 Posted 20 September 2015 Posted 20 September 2015 Time we smashed Arsenal to be fair. Ulloa should have won it for us at home last season. We owe them. Can see us having 33% possession and blowing them away with our power and pace. So 1-3 to Arsenal then.
SecretPro Posted 20 September 2015 Posted 20 September 2015 Kasper Wasyl Huth Morgan Albrighton Kante Drinkwater Schlupp Mahrez Vardy Okazaki Would love this. Bring Dyer and Kram on with 30 to go.
Jackster21 Posted 20 September 2015 Posted 20 September 2015 Kasper Wasyl Huth Morgan Albrighton Kante Drinkwater Schlupp Mahrez Vardy Okazaki Replace Albrighton with Dyer.
Jimmy Posted 20 September 2015 Posted 20 September 2015 Replace Albrighton with Dyer. Dyer as a wing back? don't think that would work
fuchsntf Posted 20 September 2015 Posted 20 September 2015 Just out of curiosity, why do posters keep putting up complete team selections, are you all hoping, Claudio will give you a call inviting you in has profi team selector.???
foxychik Posted 20 September 2015 Posted 20 September 2015 For the first time ever, I'm not feeling that playing Arsenal the result will be a formality in their favour - am I right in thinking they are the only team we have never beat in a premier league game ? Bring it on ... I really fancy us to win this
HitchinFox Posted 20 September 2015 Posted 20 September 2015 Last season I didn't care about the League Cup. It was all about survival in the Prem. When we lost to Shrewsbury I thought it was a blessing in disguise. Small squad, couldn't afford injuries or distractions etc. This season, I genuinely believe we will stay up comfortably. A cup run would be brilliant and some of my best memories as an LCFC fan are to do with winning things – play off finals and League Cup finals. Play a strong team. Show intent. Keep the momentum. Forget about needing to bring Inler up to scratch, offer Fuchs playing time or show Benalouane that he's part of the plans. Win, proceed and that will make them try even harder to break into the team.
Dynamogoon Posted 20 September 2015 Posted 20 September 2015 If we don't win this then we need to take a long hard look at ourselves. Arsenal are, at the very most, fellow title contenders
Thracian Posted 20 September 2015 Posted 20 September 2015 Not an easy game for me. My best mate in the antiques game is an Arsenal fan. Not just any Arsenal fan but a guy who attends even pre-season friendlies in places like Kiev and has all the shirts and anecdotes to prove it. Okay, he's a year or two past those halcyon days now but there'll be absolutely no holding him if they win and no coping with his misery for months if they lose. Sure, I'm pretty laid back about football and more than willing to take the good with the bad but basically there's only one result I'll even entertain - and that's a well-deserved win for the Foxes. Or even a controversial 1-0 or the biggest fluke of a victory ever witnessed. Anything that gives us three points will let me buy him beers til he's swimming in the stuff - and no matter how many jars he can count on the bar it won't change the result and it won't take the great big grin off my face.
FoxPride Posted 20 September 2015 Posted 20 September 2015 Am I the only person who feels uncomfortable with each coming game, feeling statistically we are due a loss?
Thracian Posted 20 September 2015 Posted 20 September 2015 Try playing roulette. Just because black comes up 20 times in succession doesn't mean that red will come up next.
Foreverfox Posted 20 September 2015 Posted 20 September 2015 Kasper Wasyl Huth Morgan Albrighton Kante Drinkwater Schlupp Mahrez Vardy Okazaki 3 At the back is not going to happen
Sol thewall Bamba Posted 21 September 2015 Posted 21 September 2015 Just out of curiosity, why do posters keep putting up complete team selections, are you all hoping, Claudio will give you a call inviting you in has profi team selector.??? Correct, how dare we have an opinion? Assume you were on the beers last night but this post is as stupid as they come.
dorsetboy Posted 21 September 2015 Posted 21 September 2015 People saying 3 at the back will not happen I think could soon be wrong if we keep conceding. I think the backroom team will point out the fact how tight we were end of season with a back 3 of players already here at the club. Mahrez has proved he can easily play behind the front two to allow albrighton on the right and schlupp on the left with dyer as sub
Gerard Posted 21 September 2015 Posted 21 September 2015 Correct, how dare we have an opinion? Assume you were on the beers last night but this post is as stupid as they come. Have an opinion all you want but it's pointless putting up teams in that formation. There is absolutely zero indication that we will be playing three at the back any time soon.

foxgas Posted 21 September 2015 Posted 21 September 2015 Costa has shown us the way. Get in their faces and wind the up. They have great players but no discipline in a fight. Hope we get the right ref!
Nick Posted 21 September 2015 Posted 21 September 2015 I'd love to go three at the back - it seems the only way we can keep genuine pace in the side and accommodate our best players. I can't see another way of facilitating our midfield players capable of getting forward and scoring without leaving Vardy up front and isolated. Play Jeff at the back, Wes and Huth/RDL Then in midfield we can have Dyer, Albrighton Kante, Drinks and Mahrez Then Vards and Okazaki/Ulloa Our pace is our best weapon - we not only fail to score but also conceed when we play without it.
GingerrrFox Posted 21 September 2015 Posted 21 September 2015 I fancy a bit of tinkering for this game. Kasper Benny Huth Morgan Fuchs Drinkwater Kante Dyer Mahrez Schlupp Vardy In a 4-2-3-1.
fuchsntf Posted 21 September 2015 Posted 21 September 2015 Correct, how dare we have an opinion? Assume you were on the beers last night but this post is as stupid as they come. Everyone, should, can, must have an opinion, but again why bother to choose an whole team.Far better banter to put your preferences, which individuals would you prefer, with the reasons why. Plonking a page of team choice on a football forum, seems monotonous to me. 2- 3 fans post then the same, each one believing it explains their train of thought, usually their selections are for differing reasons. IMO....put up a couple of names, then why your preferences, sets up a better base for good forum-banter.
Father Ted Posted 21 September 2015 Posted 21 September 2015 Our first proper test dare I say. What will happen though, is that Arsenal will be gifted numerous questionable refereeing decisions after Arsene has had a good moan about Mike Dean - it's always the case. I'd like to see: Schmeichel De Laet Morgan Huth Schlupp Mahrez Drinkwater Kante Albrighton Ulloa Vardy We will outscore Arsenal 5-4 if we play this team
LanguedocFox Posted 21 September 2015 Posted 21 September 2015 For the first time ever, I'm not feeling that playing Arsenal the result will be a formality in their favour - am I right in thinking they are the only team we have never beat in a premier league game ? Bring it on ... I really fancy us to win this Not quite. We beat them 2-1 at Filbo in 1993, but nowt since then. I'm not quite as confident as you about Saturday, but I think the gap between us is narrower than at any time since the 1960s.
