Benji Posted 26 September 2015 Posted 26 September 2015 Didn't deserve the score line, thought we actually played well. Arsenal were too clinical.
SMX11 Posted 26 September 2015 Posted 26 September 2015 Not sure playing so open against Arsenal is a good idea.
dylanlegend Posted 26 September 2015 Posted 26 September 2015 Not the end of the world. Still look good when attacking, but the sooner we change to 3-5-2 the better
jimmeh Posted 26 September 2015 Posted 26 September 2015 Our defence is championship standard. No clean sheet for God knows how long and a scoreline like this was coming
Heskey2011 Posted 26 September 2015 Posted 26 September 2015 What a game, i have loved this match **** the score, bound to lose every now and then, the way we played is exactly how I want us to play, couldn't do much about the goals could have been 5-5 if they didn't have Cech. As for kasper, he'll get an assist one of these days despite the boo boys,
RowlattsFox Posted 26 September 2015 Posted 26 September 2015 Disappointing but not going to lose too much sleep over it. The big boys are going to hammer us if we play like that against them. First test next week.
Nick Posted 26 September 2015 Posted 26 September 2015 What a great game of football. We went for it and went down guns blazing, playing our game. No complaints about the performance - we were outclassed despite a couple of dodgy decisions. Bring on the next game, proud of the boys today.
conLAD logan Posted 26 September 2015 Posted 26 September 2015 the only positive we can take is that we attack extremely well. we need to sort the defence out.
muhelos Posted 26 September 2015 Posted 26 September 2015 We gave a good game in first half. Have to play the next match as if this never happened.
Guest Posted 26 September 2015 Posted 26 September 2015 Arsenal passed the ball very well and we had to chase the game after some wrong decisions in the 1st half. Great first half though. Vardy and Drinky were exceptionally good. Mahrez had a poor game De Laet was pretty good today. I'm not too disappointed.
Fox in the North Posted 26 September 2015 Posted 26 September 2015 Arsenal were pretty good, we can hold our heads high. We're going to have games like this every now and then with the way we play. On to the next game!
Blanesta Posted 26 September 2015 Posted 26 September 2015 We lost to a better team, it's a shame we're leaking goals though! We need to try and sort it.
LAprice_ Posted 26 September 2015 Posted 26 September 2015 Brilliant game of football. Both teams played attractive attacking football. It just so happened that Arsenal played it better than Leicester. Please please please don't use this game as a chance to slate the defence.
Sunbury Fox Posted 26 September 2015 Posted 26 September 2015 We are letting in too many goals period, whether it's the defence or the general set up. Only Sunderland have let in more. We have 2 full backs who prefer attacking and 2 centre halves not blessed with pace.
conLAD logan Posted 26 September 2015 Posted 26 September 2015 and also like many have said what a fantastic game of football.
Guest Col city fan Posted 26 September 2015 Posted 26 September 2015 I wrote before the game today that I thought we'd lose and was worried by the number of goals we were leaking. And thus it's proven. To lose to a class team and a world class player on form is one thing. To concede 5 at home is something completely different. We now have to shore it up at the back and bounce back straightaway.
Dr The Singh Posted 26 September 2015 Posted 26 September 2015 This was always in the cards, we've looked quite shaky all sesson
SecretPro Posted 26 September 2015 Posted 26 September 2015 Defensively dreadful. Hate to say it but can't go the rest of the season saying 'you score 2 we will score three'. Need to sure it up a the back and start trying desperately to keep some clean sheets. We have been winning games and drawing so that diverts attention away from what really is still a very weak defence. Other than that can't really have any grumbles with the way the current squad is working, just didn't quite look on it today and a few of the boys looked a bit tired, Mahrez especially didn't look 100%.
katieakita Posted 26 September 2015 Posted 26 September 2015 Fine margins against a class side, couple of decisions go our way and it is a different game, chasing the game was always going to leave us open.
benpicko Posted 26 September 2015 Posted 26 September 2015 Our defence is championship standard. No clean sheet for God knows how long and a scoreline like this was coming Well we had 5 clean sheets in the final 9 matches with the back 3, wouldn't have kept one there regardless but clearly we need to change back
