Carl the Llama Posted 11 October 2015 Posted 11 October 2015 I don't have a massive problem with other clubs but I do have with people 'supporting' clubs from other cities. Not that they have chosen to support another cities club but because they think they have secured the high ground to deride my poke ridicule at my club. I have a cousin, born bred and lives in Leicester, supports Arsenal and laughs out loud when City lose. Weird. Must be some inferiority syndrome or something. ... oh don't get me started on Tigers fans. My younger cousins have been brought up in Birmingham, children of a Leicester supporting mother and Villa Fan father. Surely they support one of those two teams, right? (I would just about accept them being Villa fans given the situation they find themselves in.) The older one supports Man Utd and the younger one Liverpool. To make matters worse the younger one will always burst into fits of saying that Leicester are rubbish, but you ask why exactly he feels that way and it becomes very apparent that there is no thought process behind it at all, just a child mindlessly repeating things they've heard their heathen friends say. It's all very upsetting, especially when you have to listen to it in the hearse on the way to their die-hard Leicester fan grandfather's funeral. Nightmare of a day that.
Guest Posted 11 October 2015 Posted 11 October 2015 for people of my age I'm pretty sure it's Forest first and Derby second generally. I guess it ought to be Cov but it isn't, they aren't even worth thinking about. West mid teams like Villa are not even considered rivals.
Corky Posted 11 October 2015 Posted 11 October 2015 Couldn't stand Leeds because of the fans when they came to Filbert St. Horrible atmosphere. They seem to have changed towards us and I'm not that concerned about them now. Not a fan of individuals rather than clubs more now. Didn't like Redknapp but don't mind QPR as a club, Dyche is annoying but Burnley are generally harmless, Mourinho is dislikable though Ancelotti was no problem when he was at Chelsea. I do find the sleeping giant tag to be overused, mainly categorising any club with over 20k attendances and a trophy over 30 years ago as divine righters to be in the top flight. Football is good because smaller clubs can achieve and so called bigger clubs can't just throw their weight around and have it their own way all the time.
Jam Posted 11 October 2015 Posted 11 October 2015 Really dislike Coventry. Mainly due to their fans acting like knuckle draggers at an away match i went to as a kid. It's annoying really because they would be a good challenge for me to try and ressurect on Football Manager. Haha. Just can't bring myself to be them.
bluebeau Posted 11 October 2015 Posted 11 October 2015 When Brian Clough managed The Sheep Shaggers, I lived in Ashby de la Zouch (Leicestershire) & I supported City, but most of the assholes in & around Ashby supported Derby. They made me sick always bragging about how they were a class act & City were crap. I still hate them to this day. I detest Celtic supporters due to their ant-English & pro IRA attitude, flying the tri-colour flag at games. I love it when they lose & are always utter shite when they inevitably always qualify for Europe. Also love to see Scotlands national team losing virtually every game! As stated by others, it's the supporters I detest, not the clubs.
bovril Posted 11 October 2015 Posted 11 October 2015 I really couldn't give a shit about Celtic and Rangers and all the petty crap that goes with it, but I've been in European cities at the same time as both sets of fans and I'd much rather repeat the experience with the Celtic lot.
foxfanazer Posted 11 October 2015 Posted 11 October 2015 Manchester United. Can't deny the success they've had but I just can't stand them
ALC Fox Posted 11 October 2015 Posted 11 October 2015 It used to be Villa with a passion, mostly because they took Brian Little, Mark Draper and Julian Joachim from us. Then it was Wolves for taking Mark McGhee and Steve Corica from us. I softened towards Villa when O'Neill pitched up there after Celtic, for obvious reasons, and now I just couldn't care less about them. It's the same with Wolves, though my dislike increased when Stearman left for them. Man Utd - plenty of plastics in the school playground when I was growing up. I have no real dislike for any team right now and tend to save it for individuals that belittle Leicester City whether it be a pundit, a fan, a manager, etc. For example Mourinho had no reason to belittle Ranieri for having poor English last week - the man hadn't coached in England for over a decade before he came here. He used to be box office but is now just as bad as any other grumpy horrible little manager with a chip on his shoulder.
gerrytaggart Posted 11 October 2015 Posted 11 October 2015 Stoke. Horrible place horrible team and horrible fans.
Carl the Llama Posted 11 October 2015 Posted 11 October 2015 Stoke. Horrible place horrible team and horrible fans. Any opportunity for this pic:
bovril Posted 11 October 2015 Posted 11 October 2015 I hate Leicester since they sacked Nigel Signed in with the wrong username, you wanted foxhateram. Trolling 101.
oohaahmustafa Posted 11 October 2015 Posted 11 October 2015 Forest, Derby, Villa, Cov, Wolves. Actually I hate everyone.
Guest Manini Posted 11 October 2015 Posted 11 October 2015 Liverpool, I live with 2 Liverpool fans and I find it hard to talk about football with them now, patronising fxck's. Gutted Klopp's gone there, I hope he has a sudden realisation of what he's done and resigns. Man U. Horrible club, horrible fans, horrible players. No team comes close to the hatred I have for them. I know a few lads at uni from Nottingham and Derby and I enjoy the banter with them. Definitely dislike Forest more than Derby, still have an air of arrogance about them. Quite like leeds, say what you like about their fans but you won't find many that stick with their club like them, they've been through a lot of shite over the years.
Tom17LCFC Posted 11 October 2015 Posted 11 October 2015 I literally hate everyone. Except Cheltenham.
UpTheLeagueFox Posted 11 October 2015 Posted 11 October 2015 I don't hate any team in any sport. I enjoy seeing Derby, Forest, Cov mess up but it doesn't ruin my weekend if they win (unless they beat us, that's different) I like to see managers I dislike struggling at their current club. I enjoy seeing the Aussies lose at cricket. Hate is just a wasted, pointless emotion. Peace and love x
Dan Posted 11 October 2015 Posted 11 October 2015 You're right, consider Hazard added to the list (he should already be on it for repeated simulation along with Robben). I remember the ball boy was the son of a Swansea board member. To celebrate the win he paid for a formal dance party for the players so just like his son he laid on a ball for the team That was a disgraceful attack on the lad from Hazard for him to kick a young lad was inexcusable the Tw@ ! Give it a rest. He kicked the ball.
Tuna Posted 11 October 2015 Posted 11 October 2015 Down in the football league its the tinpot money teams that fly through the divisions. Fleetwood Town, Crawley. They'll end up like Rushden & Diamonds when the money runs out.
bovril Posted 11 October 2015 Posted 11 October 2015 At international level I have an irrational but passionate dislike of the Dutch.
