dbtcity Posted 7 December 2015 Posted 7 December 2015 With Swansea struggling I wouldn't mind us sticking in a Cheeky bid for Sigurdsson, always rated the guy and could be that number 10 were looking for
DzFox Posted 7 December 2015 Posted 7 December 2015 Hello guys, new to the forum. I am algerian so I have been following Leicester since Mahrez joined, and I have to say that after watching almost all your games over the past year, your side is incredible ! I love how entertaining most of the games are, I am even thinking of getting a City shirt Anyways to get back on track with this thread. I know I am biased but if Leicester wants to make a shock move that can really help their chances of winning the league, they need a replacement for Albrighton. He is decent and has a very high work rate but I feel he is kind of the weak link in the attack. A perfect player for the spot would be Yacine Brahimi from Porto. Him +Vardy+ Mahrez = Massive attacking potential that can beat any team in the PL. What do you guys think about making a move on a player like Brahimi ? I would be very interested to know what your opinions are. Also you definitely need a player capable of replacing Okazaki/Ulloa and Brahimi can play in their position. Also, Kante is A MONSTEEER ! Vardy also ! I love leicester

les-tah Posted 7 December 2015 Posted 7 December 2015 If Sir Alex says we need to buy to win the premier league in January then i agree... http://www.mirror.co.uk/sport/football/news/leicester-can-win-title-season-6968897
DzFox Posted 7 December 2015 Posted 7 December 2015 problem is come africa cup of nations we are screwed :( Being Algerian how do you feel about that competition and how it affects the premier league ? I can't argue that I enjoy watching my nation play and the ACN helps with that. They should reduce its frequency cause when some players go back to their club they lose their spot. But I still think that Brahimi could be a perfect fit for a team like leicester. Man, seing Brahimi + Mahrez in the same club would be a dream, even more so if it's Leicester !
lcfcsnow Posted 7 December 2015 Posted 7 December 2015 Sheff Wed have a 6 ft 3 striker (Lucas Joao) who some of their fans reckon will play for a top four club. Wonder if we're scouting him. We watched him 4 games in a row in October (including toothgate), can't confirm whether than is still ongoing though. I kept an eye on his progress but noticed he isn't starting most weeks for them.

Dan Posted 7 December 2015 Posted 7 December 2015 We'd have to pay mega money for Brahimi, but he looks a serious talent.
DzFox Posted 7 December 2015 Posted 7 December 2015 what about Slimani? He is more like a poacher with a VERY strong heading game. He wouldn't fit well with Leicester if I were to guess. He is more for teams who rely on wingers to put crosses into the box. His heading is very lethal though but the inverse of Vardy. Brahimi can fit well with Leicester's high pace way of playing.
DzFox Posted 7 December 2015 Posted 7 December 2015 We'd have to pay mega money for Brahimi, but he looks a serious talent. My opinion is that you need more than Albrighton (albeit a good player) to challenge/win the top teams. Albrighton's way of playing is predictable (get the ball, run down the line and cross) and that is limiting the already good attacking potential of the team. Also, maybe get another good defender even though Huth and Morgan are sufficient.
filbertway Posted 7 December 2015 Posted 7 December 2015 I've wantes Brahimi as long as Mahrez has been in the Algerian squad and I saw him play. Man's special
NewEnglandFox Posted 7 December 2015 Posted 7 December 2015 they need a replacement for Albrighton. He is decent and has a very high work rate but I feel he is kind of the weak link in the attack. wut? He's the best crosser on the team by far, the reason why have 2 of 3 set piece goals, and has hooked up with Mahrez 5 times (4 officially, 1 deflection) for goals. The biggest problem with Albrighton is the lack of a target man for him. So what if he had a couple bad touches last game, Mahrez made 2 selfish plays that cost us goals as well.
MC Prussian Posted 7 December 2015 Posted 7 December 2015 How do you rate Aissa Mandi from Stade Reims, DzFox? Our right-back position might be one of the few that needs strengthening.
AKCJ Posted 7 December 2015 Posted 7 December 2015 Brahimi would land us a Champions League spot. Aint gonna happen tho.
fuchsntf Posted 7 December 2015 Posted 7 December 2015 Simple demand.....lay off Albrighton, !!! if you cant see what he brings to team and squad, then leave for Peterborough Now..
Guest Posted 7 December 2015 Posted 7 December 2015 I think we just need a back up for Vardy (I don't mean a cheap crap back up either) and A RB. Simpson has done well but he NEVER stops a cross coming in. It sounds mad but Shane Long and Micah Richards might offer what we need to see us to something special.
cjslcfc Posted 7 December 2015 Posted 7 December 2015 I would explode with excitement if we got Brahimi!
Buce Posted 7 December 2015 Posted 7 December 2015 Christ, Yep, competition for Kasper - good with crosses, I hear..
DzFox Posted 7 December 2015 Posted 7 December 2015 Simple demand.....lay off Albrighton, !!! if you cant see what he brings to team and squad, then leave for Peterborough Now.. Do you think Albrighton brings as much to the attack as Mahrez and Vardy ? He is subpar compared to them two, however he compensates with his work rate I still think Brahim - Vardy - Mahrez would be explosive but it aint gonna happen. Brahimi has the same style as Mahrez, it's basically having another Mahrez on the left side, just take a look at he did to Chelsea in the CL this year . Can't wait to see the game vs Chelsea this Monday. Hope City doesn't drop any points.
DzFox Posted 7 December 2015 Posted 7 December 2015 How do you rate Aissa Mandi from Stade Reims, DzFox? Our right-back position might be one of the few that needs strengthening. Mandi is playing as a center back both in his national team and his club I believe. He is good in the air and very quick, very composed (game vs germany in WC as reference) and plays very simple football.
JamesfromlondonLCFC Posted 7 December 2015 Posted 7 December 2015 cheeky bid for calhanoglu? sure hed wanna chance to win the prem aye
dbtcity Posted 7 December 2015 Posted 7 December 2015 cheeky bid for calhanoglu? sure hed wanna chance to win the prem aye Our set pieces would definitely improve
JamesfromlondonLCFC Posted 7 December 2015 Posted 7 December 2015 Our set pieces would definitely improve 25 mil for set pieces? id take it
dbtcity Posted 7 December 2015 Posted 7 December 2015 25 mil for set pieces? id take it That being said think I'd sooner spend the 25m on someone to keep them out the other end
simon789us Posted 8 December 2015 Author Posted 8 December 2015 I honestly think there will be little or no transfers just depends on who goes out think kram and inler will go out on loan if that's the case then bring in a no 10 rb and backup keeper
