The amount of pulling power, come Jan, that we could have if we're still in the top 4 will be unreal. If Stoke can attract the likes of Bojan and Shaqiri then so can we. A top class support striker and a couple of names to challenge the defence and we will be sorted. I'm thinking names such as Subotic, Carillo, Mario Fernandes, why not a cheeky bid for Bojan especially if we stay where we are. I would like to see us go for quality. First things first is to hold on to our gems but if we can't then get a big price for them.

I'd go after Valdes as well, much for the same reason Austin is a great shout I reckon, scored what, 14?? last season for a poor QPR side. Has pace, power and he can finish. Definitely be more than £5m though, probably double if not more. Don't think there's much chance of us luring Bojan away from Stoke.

No-one is paying £10m for him.

foxes21 Posted 5 December 2015 Posted 5 December 2015 Was at the Reading vs QPR game. Austin looked slow, uninterested, bad touch, seems to have lost a lot of weight and generally very championship standard and probably isn't better than our current options.
ronnup Posted 6 December 2015 Posted 6 December 2015 Nobody liking the Valencia idea? Thought that was a good one personally... Another striker is a huge one for me though. Should've been 4 up early doors. Can't rely on the two goal scorers. I think we should go in for Lavezzi. Suits our style.
