Just read that we are supposedly back in for Austin. Had a 12 million bid rejected in the summer (!?) but will allegedly get him for cheaper....

Holy shit I just noticed how young Austin is - I always thought he was around Vardy's age but at 26 years old that changes things, I'm suddenly much more keen for this transfer to happen.

Disagree, injury ravaged at Arsenal and never really had a chance to make the RB position his own. Get our medical staff on him and if he had an extended run of games he'd hopefully get back to somewhere near his best. Would be an upgrade on RDL and be a different type of full back to Simpson.

Most players at arsenal are injury ravaged must be the way they train

Listening to ian wright the other week and he was saying the arsenal traning pitched have always been to hard.

Been linked with Gray again from Birmingham. Minimum release clause in his contract only £3.75 mill.

Would be a great signing in my opinion. Us and Bournemouth leading the chase

Also being re-linked with Delort. Walsh must really like him as he massively flopped at Wigan.

Wigan were horseshit last season and although he was also abysmal it could be that it just wasn't right for him. He could be another master stroke and wouldn't cost that much.

How much money have the spent on transfers and wages over the years?

How much does it cost to improve your training facilities and sports science (and medical) team?

They are spending money for short term results, but they can't even get short term results because they haven't spent for the long term.

I agree, I wanted to sign him initially. He will defintiely be cheap and could be the next gem as Walsh obviously has confidence in him.

That was at Wigan. He's currently 7th in the Ligue 1 goalscoring charts, with two assists also. And Caen are in 3rd place right now. Wicked times in France - imagine, the relatively unknown Angers SCO are second behind PSG!

Caen are in third? bugger me, imagine where they'd be if we didn't take Kante off them.

Link to the Gray story - anyone know how he's been this season?

He's been doing alright, if he comes here he might struggle to nail down a place but i'd still get him in. To have him and Lawrence as prospects trying to break through would be great. If used correctly he could be lethal on the left.

I only watch Leicester because of Mahrez, but I've seen quite a lot of your matches over the last couple of seasons. I'm interested to know what people think about Kramaric. He's mentioned a bit on this forum as someone who potentially should be sold. Whenever I saw him last season, he always seemed to impress me. Just had the feeling that he'd be the perfect number 10 behind a striker like Vardy and so I'm a bit surprised we haven't seen him play that role for Leicester this season.

Unless they spent the money we gave them well and that's a reason for success. I have no idea though tbh.

His clause falls to £3m at the end of the season apparently, surely worth a punt on that even if he goes back out on loan again
