January transfers, wish list, available etc.

I honestly think there will be little or no transfers just depends on who goes out think kram and inler will go out on loan if that's the case then bring in a no 10 rb and backup keeper

Just like CR said ! ...   You know your onions !

He is more like a poacher with a VERY strong heading game. He wouldn't fit well with Leicester if I were to guess. He is more for teams who rely on wingers to put crosses into the box. His heading is very lethal though but the inverse of Vardy. Brahimi can fit well with Leicester's  high pace way of playing.

We have crossers - Riyad, Albrighton, dyer, Fuchs...

Still not quite sure we're at the level of being able to take players from Porto's first team. Only one way to find out though.

Calhanoglu too isn't happening.

Would like is to spend some money to push on I know the tinker man has said he's happy but 1 or 2 injuries can mean we go into a slump

CR has only been here for half a season and needs to find out the strength of his squad, which will clearly happen when the '1 or 2' injuries occur.    I'm as excited as you are but we need to keep our feet on the ground and let the manager develop the team at the right pace.

cheeky bid for calhanoglu? sure hed wanna chance to win the prem aye  ;)  ;)  ;)

I'm absolutely positive that we're not. Especially when said first teamer is Porto's best player.

reckon we should go for Subotic to replace morgan reckon Townsend to compete with albrighton and pato if he plays for some team in brazil no reason he wont come to to us top of the prem keep vardy mahrez dont loan out kram and inler as may need them if players injured with all them could finish top 3

Pato would be sensational for us to be fair.

With our style of play he'd fit in a treat and I fancy our medical team to look after him.

What managers say and do can be entirely different thing, Pearson would often say no signings.... the sign three players.

Of course they do and it wouldn't surprise me if he brings in a new forward and lets Kram go ....   but apart from that I don't think we'll see much happening in January.

They say it because it's disrespectful to talk about other teams players and also to suggest that the players they currently have are not good enough.

Wankers like Harry Redknapp do the opposite because they like to "tap up" players and also make the players they have get their arses into gear.

Do you think Albrighton brings as much to the attack as Mahrez and Vardy ? He is subpar compared to them two, however he compensates with his work rate :) I still think Brahim - Vardy - Mahrez would be explosive but it aint gonna happen. Brahimi has the same style as Mahrez, it's basically having another Mahrez on the left side, just take a look at he did to Chelsea in the CL this year lol. Can't wait to see the game vs Chelsea this Monday. Hope City doesn't drop any points.

I dont compare in this case, they do different jobs in the TEAM, theres 9 other guys

behind Vardy and Mahrez.I wont even compare players who are suggested, because

like many forums, we go in all directions and off the scale.I'll wait to see who our

club, shakes out of the tree. According to a few posters on here Vardy and Mahrez

last season was not fit for purpose.

Now these 2 are rightly our 2 diamonds, but make no mistake the crown doesnt glisten

without the the other gems.Albrighton, Kante, D.Drinkwater shine just as bright.

has anyone posted that our elevated position means we can scout players out of contract in june and secure them in jan, safe in the knowledge that we will be PL next season. that's what top 6 clubs do!

When you stay still you fall behind. Who says next season with this same squad would be as pretty as this season could turn out to be? The club must always strive to improve incrementally, and Albrighton isn't world-class. So his position is something the squad can always strive to improve. Any position that isn't Mahrez/Vardy/Kante can be improved.

Wages might come in the way of that...

There is a theme that get mentioneded, sometime but Still we are wanting to throw our guys on the bench out on loans.

Look at W.Ham, Bournemouth, Southampton etc , especially the Hammers who have 6 top players out injured.

How many players could we miss at one time.

Man.city, Chelsea, Arsenal managers in the recent past, complained of games played and injuries, but forgot to add they spent millions on squad players, so they could compete at the higher level.Ferguson sometimes forgot but to his credit, he mentioned about 6 yrs ago, that top teams shouldnt complain too much about fixture pile up, because top teams have top reserves.

Let us now, make sure also the players shouldnt forget, Kramaric, Ulloa, Inler, Shinji,Benny, we paid out good money.

When asked to do your part, show your quality, no excuses.Injuries or need for a short rest will come, its up to you individuals, to prove youve got it, to run with the teams ethos and character.

I dont have any idea on Claudios thoughts, as far as Krami, or Benny, Inler even Lawrence are concerned.

So who should we chase down, all players even newcomers, whoever must be given game time.

Names in football belong and are chained to opinions, its finding the right few who will fit or backup the present squad better, than its present status.Clubs like us are not Man.city, or Manu, who can afford to waste money on some player who " might be good enough"

DONT forget our management staff have not yet had 5 months with each other, our team is getting reults beyond expectation, suprising even the insiders.Claudio and his backroom team have not a simple task.

Many are seeing the next 6 games as the crux of the season, so descisions might be last minute, and potential signings staying just that.Or they say fuk it, we buy blindly....

V.Unlikely to happen i know but the player i  would have come in is Cambiasso...seemed to leave on good terms with the rest of the team, has the experience of winning league titles in Spain & Italy..and would be ideal cover for Kante/Drinkwater...

But surely we have perfectly good cover in that position in James King and Inler, our midfield pair has to be mobile and able to get about the pitch to fit in with our current set up so if we're to bring in another cm(I'd be surprised if we're even looking at strengthening that position)it would have to be another cm with a fantastic engine and not a player who just sits around the centre circle spraying the ball about

Exactly right.

The No10 is the obvious improvement in our side as it's sub standard IMO.

After that the next position could be either Albrighton, Simpson, Morgan, Huth or Schmiechel under threat.

Vardy and Mahrez are untouchable with Kante not too far behind and then Drinkwater and Fuchs probably in that order.

Definitely not mutually exclusive to want to get better yet grow with this squad. I have faith that this squad can grow and continue to improve. I believe in the depth that this club has at many positions. RB, CB, GK cover can all be improved without ruining current faith in squad and squad harmony.

Bringing a player like Carrillo would be freaking fantastic.

Shouldn't we be looking to do what the big clubs normally do?  Look at the teams below them and pick the players that they want to strengthen their bench/weaken the opposition?

That being the case, I'll take Stones and Lukaku from Everton, Willian from Chelsea, Sanchez and Bellerin from Arsenal, Lloris from Spurs, Silva and Kompany from Man C and nobody from Man Utd.  :D  :D  :celebrate:
