azzathehack Posted 8 December 2015 Posted 8 December 2015 Debuchy wants out of Arsenal... http://www.dailymail.co.uk/sport/football/article-3351186/Mathieu-Debuchy-admits-leave-Arsenal-seeks-place-France-s-Euro-2016-squad.html
martyn Posted 8 December 2015 Posted 8 December 2015 Loan in Debuchy with a view to a permanent Sneaky January bid for Carillo in an attempt to avoid his contract expiring and going where the biggest wage is. Sensational, club record bid for Embolo. Loan out RDL, Kramaric and possibly Inler.
fuchsntf Posted 8 December 2015 Posted 8 December 2015 When you stay still you fall behind. Who says next season with this same squad would be as pretty as this season could turn out to be? The club must always strive to improve incrementally, and Albrighton isn't world-class. So his position is something the squad can always strive to improve. Any position that isn't Mahrez/Vardy/Kante can be improved. Wages might come in the way of that... Who is world-class, please dont say Mahrez or Vardy.Albrightons work like many others seem to be underrated, undervalued, from a few on this forum. like I have said before, opinions thats all opinions, yours favour an unknown unnamed improvement. I favour the man holding the shirt. It might change as the season progresses, but first I prefer the season to take on a consolidated role. These guys have earnt the right to see where their individual endeavours this season can take them. This summer no matter what our positions end spot, I will argue your right And say fair opinion, now we need all these players, because they created it....Well them and king Richard.
martyn Posted 8 December 2015 Posted 8 December 2015 Debuchy is rubbish. Disagree, injury ravaged at Arsenal and never really had a chance to make the RB position his own. Get our medical staff on him and if he had an extended run of games he'd hopefully get back to somewhere near his best. Would be an upgrade on RDL and be a different type of full back to Simpson.
dbtcity Posted 8 December 2015 Posted 8 December 2015 Ashley Williams debuchy and Shane long would do for me Williams was trying to get on our team bus the other day so we're half way there with that transfer as it is
Gerard Posted 8 December 2015 Posted 8 December 2015 Shame Long is a shout. I thought it was a shame too. I want better quality.
richardsfoxes Posted 8 December 2015 Posted 8 December 2015 We didnt spend that much in the summer right like 20M? Hopefully enough to add real quality in the weakest area's.

Sensational, club record bid for Embolo. Loan out RDL, Kramaric and possibly Inler. No chance of loaning Debuchy, whilst we're up there and a threat none of the top sides will give us any help whatsoever. How much of a budget will we have. Let me ring Top and ask him, give me 10 mins.
Fridgechef Posted 8 December 2015 Posted 8 December 2015 Fellaini? If we finish above Man U, he could give us something good I reckon, definitely an aerial advantage!!!

No one in this squad is world-class. But Mahrez has the potential to be discussed in that stratosphere without being laughable. And Vardy is indispensable to this team. I don't think it's opinion that staying still is not moving forward, though. Regardless of what the club's goal is for this season, it should always look to improve. Perhaps there's an improvement out there in January that can be meaningful. If not, still happy, because this squad is great and brings us great joy.
Finn Claw II Posted 8 December 2015 Posted 8 December 2015 Vlaar? Probably not in Jan but given he is spending 6 months in Holland, he is up for grabs in the summer.
Mikey Posted 8 December 2015 Posted 8 December 2015 Embolo would be incredible but can't see that happening. Carrillo would be class as well, could see that happening as well.
americanfox Posted 8 December 2015 Posted 8 December 2015 Vlaar? Probably not in Jan but given he is spending 6 months in Holland, he is up for grabs in the summer. Given he just signed yesterday with AZ (Alkmaar is a beautiful place, random chime), if he was a target, wouldn't the club have signed him by now?
dannythefox Posted 8 December 2015 Posted 8 December 2015 Everyone is injured at Arsenal aren't they? Everyone is injured at Arsenal aren't they? anyone think Arsenal have crap back room staff or is it just me? They have 10 injured nearly all season every season.
My Nads Posted 8 December 2015 Posted 8 December 2015 How much of a budget will we have. I've been wondering the same thing. It wouldn't surprised me if we break our transfer record in January. Walsh will bring in quality and value even if they cost a few quid.
justfoxes Posted 8 December 2015 Posted 8 December 2015 Embolo would be incredible but can't see that happening. Carrillo would be class as well, could see that happening as well. Some said that about Cambiasso !!
Grewks Posted 8 December 2015 Posted 8 December 2015 I'm willing to let Walsh decide. The raised eyebrows of the signing of simpson at the time, has proved that if nothing else danny is value for money.
Mikey Posted 8 December 2015 Posted 8 December 2015 Some said that about Cambiasso !!Completely different though!Although we're in a completely different position. Can always hope I suppose.
Solihullfox Posted 8 December 2015 Posted 8 December 2015 Anyone know if we could go back in for Daniel Amartey In other words has his work permit situation changed ?
MPH Posted 8 December 2015 Posted 8 December 2015 Just read that we are supposedly back in for Austin. Had a 12 million bid rejected in the summer (!?) but will allegedly get him for cheaper....
