foxfanazer Posted 17 October 2015 Posted 17 October 2015 Pretty sure Claudio made it quite clear Mahrez was injured after international and wouldn't start. Everyone miss that??Why put him on the bench then?
FireFox Posted 17 October 2015 Posted 17 October 2015 He's good enough if Ulloa is out though, he's not that shit. You can't not have a striker on the bench, even if it a youth team one. Odd decision. He is that shit apparently, seeing as he isn't in the squad. In Claudio we trust. Mahrez and Dyer are dangerous enough as attacking wingers.
Carl the Llama Posted 17 October 2015 Posted 17 October 2015 HAY GUYS OKAZAKI IS FROM JAPAN WHICH IS THE CAPITAL OF THAILAND AND THE OWNERS WON'T LET RANIERI DROP HIM PASS THE MESSAGE ON
Merging Cultures Posted 17 October 2015 Posted 17 October 2015 Okazaki clearly helps stretch the defences and makes space for Vardy et al. But away from home I'd like to see Ulloa using his presence to out muscle defenders. Plus I think he adds additional defensive support.
Tuna Posted 17 October 2015 Posted 17 October 2015 Beginning to like Kramaric is all but finished at least for the moment.
Stevosevic Posted 17 October 2015 Posted 17 October 2015 Davis is a poor premier league goalkeeper (watch him have a blinder now)
Spudulike Posted 17 October 2015 Posted 17 October 2015 Is there really any need for both Ben and De Laet on the bench? Ulloa for De Laet and we'd have had a well balanced bench. ...especially as Albrighton can do a job at right wing-back.
dmayne7 Posted 17 October 2015 Posted 17 October 2015 No striker on the bench? Win, lose or draw, that is a bad decision.
dedlock Posted 17 October 2015 Posted 17 October 2015 This ref, Tierney, has not reffed many PL games. Let's hope he's not fooled by Mane's dives.
Swarles Barkley Posted 17 October 2015 Posted 17 October 2015 No striker on the bench? Win, lose or draw, that is a bad decision. How can it be a bad decision if we win? Wheres the logic in that?
Finn Claw II Posted 17 October 2015 Posted 17 October 2015 Throw Schwarzer up front for the last 15. Claudio you bloody genius
foxfanazer Posted 17 October 2015 Posted 17 October 2015 Pearson would've been hammered for this squad selection
AjcW Posted 17 October 2015 Posted 17 October 2015 As much as I'd like to have seen Leo... We play with one main striker every game. So unless oka and vards get injured, the decision to have no striker on the bench is fine
Guest ttfn Posted 17 October 2015 Posted 17 October 2015 Suppose Schlupp could go up front in an emergency as well.
Larry_LCFC Posted 17 October 2015 Posted 17 October 2015 Has Ulloa eaten Claudio's last rolo? Where is he?
foxfanazer Posted 17 October 2015 Posted 17 October 2015 As much as I'd like to have seen Leo... We play with one main striker every game. So unless oka and vards get injured, the decision to have no striker on the bench is fineOptions though mate. Think Ulloa offers something completely different
Guest ttfn Posted 17 October 2015 Posted 17 October 2015 Pearson would've been hammered for this squad selection Last season Pearson raised the white flag with his team selection in this very fixture. Ranieri's picked two wingers here.
Miquel The Work Geordie Posted 17 October 2015 Posted 17 October 2015 HAY GUYS OKAZAKI IS FROM JAPAN WHICH IS THE CAPITAL OF THAILAND AND THE OWNERS WON'T LET RANIERI DROP HIM PASS THE MESSAGE ON Ahahah m8 clearly only startin becuase he done the owners a good egg fried rice an chicken balls what they eat in erasure where there all from
Fox 4 Life Posted 17 October 2015 Posted 17 October 2015 Pearson would've been hammered for this squad selection Please explain? That exact team just beat Norwich away and Southampton are on fire and one of the toughest away days in the league. Mahrez can play behind Vardy if needed. I don't get the uproar.
ousefox Posted 17 October 2015 Posted 17 October 2015 Absolutely bizarre how you can't fit a striker on a 7 man bench
Richmondfox Posted 17 October 2015 Posted 17 October 2015 This is going to be a lot tougher than when we beat them at home last season. Their midfield is looking really strong. Hopefully we can use some pace on the wings to keep attacking and not get caught out at the back. Mahrez and Dyer to come on when their defence is looking tired.
dorsetboy Posted 17 October 2015 Posted 17 October 2015 thats a very defensive line up and tbh im a little dissapointed the way ranieri is going by making us a more defensive set up i was loving the fun counter attacking style of if they score 2 well score 3 thats how we are known . id be all for us playing 4-3-3 with kante, drinkwater and king/inler in the middle and simpson and fuchs as lb/rb to be a bit more solid at the back but with explosive pace up top for the counter with dyer, vardy and mahrez but thats why im not a manager
peterborofox Posted 17 October 2015 Posted 17 October 2015 Agree with poster who said why have RDL and Benny on bench. Pointless.
