weller54 Posted 7 November 2015 Posted 7 November 2015 Why are some of you so cautious about today?.. It's Watford we're playing NOT Manchester city! We're better than them in every position.. 3 points... Joint top by 5pm!
Max Power Posted 7 November 2015 Posted 7 November 2015 1-0 CITY Similar game to Palace, tight and competitive until a mistake/moment of magic wins it for us second half.

I think that's what West Ham thought last week And Stoke the previous week If our attitude is right and we don't suffer some ridiculous bad luck throughout the game then, yes, we win.
The Quick Brown Fox Posted 7 November 2015 Posted 7 November 2015 Watford are very good defensively and haven't conceded many, hopefully we will get a 1-0 win but I can see a draw.

We're better than them in every position.. 3 points... Joint top by 5pm! Watford have took points in 8/11 games so far. The three teams to beat them are Arsenal, Man City and Crystal Palace. So they have lost one in nine games if you don't count the best two teams in the league. It's a good time to play them because if we go into this game with any complacency then we deserve to not win. This season has shown us that Watford have performed like a mid table team.
Guest Posted 7 November 2015 Posted 7 November 2015 It makes me sad to think about Dyer wasting away in your under 21's squad. He loved this club and was a brilliant player for us at times. I know he chose to leave but it's still a shame he's ended up like that and not being a week in, week out winger for someone. justice.
Guest Posted 7 November 2015 Posted 7 November 2015 I really want Lloyd back You can have him. Obviously Watford don't want him and he's nowhere near good enough to make our bench.

A draw, at home against a newly promoted club!!!! I like to think what would Southampton last year or Spurs have expected to do against the opposition. This is the type of game we need to win handsomely.
Gerard Posted 7 November 2015 Posted 7 November 2015 Watford's results away from home this season: Won Newcastle Stoke Drew Everton Bournemouth Lost Man City This is a team that has only went to Man City and not come away with points, we underestimate these at our peril.
Countryfox Posted 7 November 2015 Posted 7 November 2015 Watford's results away from home this season: Won Newcastle Stoke Drew Everton Bournemouth Lost Man City Leicester City This is a team that has only went to Man City AND LEICESTER and not come away with points, we underestimate these at our peril. Thats more like it !!

"gone" no-one is underestimating them, you do realise that we've only lost 1 game all season (to Arsenal) don't you? Don't underestimate Leicester.
ithuriel Posted 7 November 2015 Posted 7 November 2015 Weather is foul with high winds, got to keep the ball on the floor and be prepared for Watford to stay tight defensively. Might not be the best game to use Albrighton, have Schluup in front of Fuuchs if he is available instead.

Don't underestimate Leicester. Read the thread, some people are underestimating them. We're not that good that we can go into games expecting to win without playing at full throttle.

We're better than them in every position.. 3 points... Joint top by 5pm! And they're on a great run of two straight wins and four wins in their last seven - you'd be a fool to ignore the form table. They also look pretty well-knit at the back and boast a highly underrated goalkeeper between the sticks. Having said that, I'd expect a pretty open game and a goals galore.

We also have 2 straight wins, and perhaps 13 wins in our last 20 Prem matches. And WE ARE AT HOME.
suffolk fox Posted 7 November 2015 Posted 7 November 2015 Gift them two goals like West Ham did last week we wont deserve anything. West Ham team that played them last week Payet apart was the same team that played against us in the league cup. A few of their fans are saying things like we should swat these aside if we want to finish in the top seven they haven't played anyone yet in the top half conveniently forgetting both West Ham, Southampton, Arsenal and Spurs. No it's not going to be easy but we are at home, big home support, if we can keep Igahlo and Pub player Deeney quiet, we should win. Oh,apparently they were offered Vardy and any player in our squad For Deeney apparently in the close season? According to another of their fans. Gtf?
KFS Posted 7 November 2015 Posted 7 November 2015 High winds is EXACTLY the right game for Albrighton. Imagine the bend on some of his deliveries

Watford will be facing the best attacking side they have played away from home since they played Man City. I think we could steam roll them if we take control of the game early by getting a early goal.
foxfanazer Posted 7 November 2015 Posted 7 November 2015 I'm feeling really confident about this. Yes they've performed above expectations so far but we are the standout team in this league this season. Dreaded international break next so it'd be great to take all 3 points
