Sol thewall Bamba Posted 3 November 2015 Posted 3 November 2015 No, that was 2012-13 Ah right sorry, guess I'd forgotten about it.
Babylon Posted 3 November 2015 Posted 3 November 2015 We should really thank Watford for not getting us potentially promoted. That squad we had after that shit run would have got less points than Derby did. It was virtually the same squad we did come up with bar Hammond, Was, GTF, Phillips and Mahrez... I think we might have coped without the first four easily enough. Who knows really. I think the biggest factor was all the players like Vardy, Schlupp, Drinkwater, Knockaert and James getting another season in the championship to grow as players. Mentally more than anything, the Watford defeat seemed to give us a steely determination that might have been missing otherwise.
foxfanazer Posted 3 November 2015 Posted 3 November 2015 Ah right sorry, guess I'd forgotten about it.Stop trying to make out that 'Deeney Day' doesn't still keep you up at night. Fooling nobody pal
Leicesterpool Posted 3 November 2015 Posted 3 November 2015 Always a few goals in this fixture, I remember (apart from that year!) another occasion when we visited Watford. We were two up at half time, finished 3-3. God I hate Watford... no offence to the fan on here.
Sol thewall Bamba Posted 3 November 2015 Posted 3 November 2015 Stop trying to make out that 'Deeney Day' doesn't still keep you up at night. Fooling nobody pal Genuinely got the date wrong!
Number 6 Posted 3 November 2015 Posted 3 November 2015 If you come to attack, it will make for a great game and looking forward to it even more. It will be close as both teams weak points are their defences. I think we will edge it (obviously going to say that) but wont be as easy as some think. Huh? Watford have an excellent defence.
Danizen Posted 3 November 2015 Posted 3 November 2015 You lot checking each others forums out and then writing comments about how bad you both are seriously need to get out more...^this absolutely
The Railway Man Posted 3 November 2015 Posted 3 November 2015 Same side cept Fuchs in for Jeff and we're good to go, can see us winning this one comfortably.

I kinda meant because the players were not ready but didn't write it out of laziness. Watford winning allowed us to smash the league and going up was much more enjoyable.
fuchsntf Posted 3 November 2015 Posted 3 November 2015 I dont like Watford, I dont particular like my home town Leicester. The outside areas can be quite beautiful of both. They both do however have something in common, I like both the football teams, especially this season. Both are are playing entertaining football. Not automatic choice for relegation.2 good managers, both set of fans all weird to the last lad n lass.
Jimbo Posted 3 November 2015 Posted 3 November 2015 I get it that your confidence is high, and why wouldn't it be? The fact is that we're no longer despairing any particular matches. It's not so much we think we're going to win, it's more that we no longer fear getting trounced. We can make a good account of ourselves, even when we lose. In all honesty, and fair play to you, you sound like me and what I was thinking this time last year when travelling to places like Southampton, Palace and Swansea. You've looked pretty decent so far this season and I'm just hoping for the win in an entertaining, open game
filbertstreet Posted 3 November 2015 Posted 3 November 2015 Same side cept Fuchs in for Jeff and we're good to go, can see us winning this one comfortably. when have we had a comfortable game this season so far
HitchinFox Posted 3 November 2015 Posted 3 November 2015 when have we had a comfortable game this season so far Every time we've gone 0-2 down.
ScouseFox Posted 3 November 2015 Posted 3 November 2015 when have we had a comfortable game this season so far sunderland bro we could've won 300-0
filbertstreet Posted 3 November 2015 Posted 3 November 2015 sunderland bro we could've won 300-0 nah we were lucky they're a big established prem team and we're just a little tinpot club we were lucky to get a goal in, false results and all that
Larry_LCFC Posted 4 November 2015 Posted 4 November 2015 Looking forward to this. The remembrance fixture always seems to have a special kind of atmosphere. Lloydy is bound to score for them.
Steve_Guppy_Left_Foot Posted 4 November 2015 Posted 4 November 2015 Don't think Lloyd has made a squad yet this year, definitely not played a minute of football for them in any competition so doubt he will feature against us.
simon789us Posted 4 November 2015 Posted 4 November 2015 Would take a 1-0 now vardy last minute winner
Stevosevic Posted 4 November 2015 Posted 4 November 2015 Usually lose our home remembrance fixtures don't we? West Brom last season, Forest the year before i can remember anyway.
Wortho Posted 4 November 2015 Posted 4 November 2015 I have to work with some of these Watford idiots. I really do hope we can win this game, one nil will do, but I'd prefer four nil (Vardy 4).
Ric Flair Posted 4 November 2015 Posted 4 November 2015 Sorry Ric .... forgot to put the smiley face thing on which denotes tongue in cheek ..... ... thats the one (I think). Hahahaha I was joking anyway, doing a Ronnie Pickering quote!
(.) (.) Posted 4 November 2015 Posted 4 November 2015 Watford will be our hardest game of the season. Even harder than Arsenal. Not because of the world class talent they have but because we will be expected to win this easily, we will dominate possession and have to force the game but Watford have Deeney and Igahlo who will cause us. Would take a scrappy 1-0 but a draw is not the end of the world.
Stevosevic Posted 4 November 2015 Posted 4 November 2015 TIFO on saturday. Leicester City @LCFC 1m1 minute ago The Last Post and a TIFO display will then usher in a period of silence in memory of those who have lost their lives in conflicts
DB11 Posted 4 November 2015 Posted 4 November 2015 TIFO on saturday. Leicester City @LCFC 1m1 minute ago The Last Post and a TIFO display will then usher in a period of silence in memory of those who have lost their lives in conflicts Every LCFC fan knows that after The Last Post no one will remain silent and pockets of fans will start cheering, thinking that's the end of it, only to be "Shhhh" or boo'ed by other fans, resulting in even more noise. Ultimately LCFC fans will blame the away fans for disrespecting it, then other LCFC fans will say it was badly organised and The Birch didn't tell people how it was going to go down. Happens every year
