Stevosevic Posted 4 November 2015 Posted 4 November 2015 Every LCFC fan knows that after The Last Post no one will remain silent and pockets of fans will start cheering, thinking that's the end of it, only to be "Shhhh" or boo'ed by other fans, resulting in even more noise. Ultimately LCFC fans will blame the away fans for disrespecting it, then other LCFC fans will say it was badly organised and The Birch didn't tell people how it was going to go down. Happens every year Pretty sure that didn't happen last year v WBA and it went quite smoothly...
DB11 Posted 4 November 2015 Posted 4 November 2015 Pretty sure that didn't happen last year v WBA and it went quite smoothly... Really?
Stevosevic Posted 4 November 2015 Posted 4 November 2015 Really? Can't say I noticed that from the Kop, it seemed very well observed. I stand corrected
Sol thewall Bamba Posted 4 November 2015 Posted 4 November 2015 TIFO on saturday. Leicester City @LCFC 1m1 minute ago The Last Post and a TIFO display will then usher in a period of silence in memory of those who have lost their lives in conflicts Another club organised tifo, really going for it aren't they. Assume it will be something poppy related, hopefully they use those big foils they did last weekend, they were really good.
C-man Posted 4 November 2015 Posted 4 November 2015 I wish they wouldn't write tifo in capitals. It's almost as if they believe it's an abbreviation for TIn-FOil.
Guest Posted 4 November 2015 Posted 4 November 2015 have to beat promoted sides when you're playing at home. relegation form to lose to them.
possiblygeorge Posted 4 November 2015 Posted 4 November 2015 Would take a 1-0 now vardy last minute winner I'll take a 1-0 vardy goal in the first minute and nothing for the rest of the game!
Danizen Posted 4 November 2015 Posted 4 November 2015 Can't say I noticed that from the Kop, it seemed very well observed. I stand corrected Wasn't it fans who were still in the concourse who were singing? Can't really blame them. I know as an away fan, I don't listen to what's being said over the tannoy because it's mostly some irrelevant stuff about future tickets or something. Maybe Watford could text/email fans who are going and let them know what's happening.
The Horse's Mouth Posted 4 November 2015 Posted 4 November 2015 I've got nothing against Watford even with the play-off issue that some have, blessing for us and they looked like a bunch of morons pitch invading to then get battered by Palace at Wembley

watfordvisitor Posted 4 November 2015 Posted 4 November 2015 Hi.Watford fan in peace here. I am not here to get in the 'having a go at each other' that has preceded this. I have been very impressed with Leicester both this season and last. I like to approach you have, I always liked Nigel Pearson, and love the Ranieri is approaching the job. I just wanted to address/correct a few of the points that have been raised previously just for clarity. 1) The Club Crest features the head of a hart, the symbol of the county of Hertfordshire, and not a stag or moose 2) Despite the lazy journalism that often refers to 'all the new signings etc...', 7 of the starting 11 for the past 4 games were in the starting 11 last season. So only 4 were from the new signings. Prior to the last 4, 6 of the starting 11 every match were with us last year. In fact, against West Ham, 2 of the subs that came on were also with us last season, so 9 of the 14 that played. 3) Of our regular '1st team' this season, Cathcart, Anya, Watson and Deeney are all British. Ake counts as 'home grown' (as one of the earlier posters pointed out with a couple of Leicester's 'foreigners'). Gomes came from another English club and has played in England for 8 years, Guedioura came from another English club, has played for 3 other English clubs and has been playing in England for 6 years, and Capoue was also signed from another English club. Behrami we did sign from a European club, but even he had 3 years at West Ham 2008-2011. 4) Of the 25 man squad, 4 were signed from Udinese or Granada, Abdi, Anya, Nyom and Ighalo. Anya had previously been at Wycombe and Northampton and let go. I know it is a shame to let a few facts get in the way of many misguided opinions, which I appreciate are mainly as the result of lazy journalism, but there you go! Good luck for the rest of the season, I hope you don't win next Saturday, but hope you keep in the top 6 and keep upsetting those 'big boys'
filbertstreet Posted 4 November 2015 Posted 4 November 2015 1) The Club Crest features the head of a hart, the symbol of the county of Hertfordshire, and not a stag or moose yeah but it is a moose, why not just have a picture of joe hart instead

ARM1968 Posted 4 November 2015 Posted 4 November 2015 As ever, another marker. Confidence is sky high, pace and fitness exceptional. We should have enough for 3pts. But Watford are no mugs and have surprised me this season. I expected all 3 promoted clubs to struggle to avoid the drop but Watford are doing very well and credit to them. They can be dangerous and direct as well as patient. It will be a tough game but I'm hoping for another good performance and a solid win. They will score. Just hope we score more.
sdb Posted 4 November 2015 Posted 4 November 2015 This thread is a shambles. Hope the team aren't as complacent as half of you lot!!!
The Doctor Posted 4 November 2015 Posted 4 November 2015 1) The Club Crest features the head of a hart, the symbol of the county of Hertfordshire, and not a stag or moose It's clearly a moose though. What even is a hart? That's just a goalkeeper with a dandruff problem or a misspelt organ.
joedawg Posted 5 November 2015 Posted 5 November 2015 Accidentally put in my accumulator Leicester to win, vardy any time and over 2.5 goals in the FIRST HALF (I was meant to put the whole game) so as long as its high scoring and we come out with the win, I'm happy
Nick Posted 5 November 2015 Posted 5 November 2015 I really want this one. It's not the fixture that I want to be our undoing. I can't be hearing about another Deany day for the next three seasons. Vardy brace inbound methinks. I really want this one. It's not the fixture that I want to be our undoing. I can't be hearing about another Deany day for the next three seasons. NotTheMarketLeader Posted 5 November 2015 Posted 5 November 2015 Roger east is the ref... As he had any of our games this season? I don't know but I bet he is fat, bald and blind like 95% of his profession
Domsdad Posted 5 November 2015 Posted 5 November 2015 I don't know but I bet he is fat, bald and blind like 95% of his profession Blimey, I've got all those attributes, I see a new career beckoning!
watfordvisitor Posted 5 November 2015 Posted 5 November 2015 Isn't hart an archaism for a stag? You are of course right. But in terms of it as an emblem, the Hart (Male Red Deer) is the emblem of Hertfordshire County Council, why I haven't a clue, and Watford changed the club emblem to the Hart about 40 years ago now, although yes it looks like a Moose! I was just providing the explanation of why it is there. At the time, Watford was the only team from Hertfordshire in the league, although Barnet and Stevenage crept in since then. The Hart can also be, rarely, white. And doesn't every town have a White Hart pub, usually with a picture of a Deer on the sign... .. anyway, there ends today's lesson. Now back to more interesting things like Football!! Come on you Golden Boys!!

Most of us don't care.
Lestoh Posted 5 November 2015 Posted 5 November 2015 Don't think there's any need for the animosity towards the guy coming on here to clear up a few things about his club. Considering he's being polite about it, we should consider it a bloody miracle when you think of how many of our own go to other forums acting like full-blown twats. I, for one, always thought it was a moose. I still think it's a moose and, to me, Watford will always be the moose boys, but now when I get pulled up on it I can say I know it's a hart, but the fvcker looks quite moosey.
