Chelsea at home.. Thoughts!

gotta say i'm uneasily confident about this match, they are so slow they surely must be forced to park the bus? I just gotta feeling if we get 1 they will have to come out and attack us, in which case the floodgates will open.

Big home win for me to really make the pundits think..

Will we have ever had as much neutral backing as tonight? Feel like the teams around us probably still see Chelsea as more of a threat to them than us and everyone wants Chelsea to fail.

I don't think there's anyone outside of Chelsea fans that won't want us to win tonight.

This is a big game. If we lose we lose but if we win..... It gives us a decent bit of space from 5th and at the top.

We've only been beaten once this season and since our run started it was Chelsea that got in the way before the end of last season, it'd be nice to get some quick and dirty revenge. I'd also really like Claudio to win the tactical masterclass battle as a finger in the air to Abromovich as arguably he was roughly treated there.

I don't really understand why there's a mixture getting either nervous or very excited; it's not as if it's a life-changing time on a personal level for some.

It's only a game of football; yes we're doing superbly but it's just a sport.

There's many unfortunate people out there having various personal troubles that are affecting their lives but struggle to cope.

Just going to watch it as another game and hopefully 3 points.

So because some people in the world have problems, people aren't allowed to get excited/nervous about something which they like, and makes them happy. What's the point in anything then? Probably one of the stupidest posts I've ever seen.

I think we'll get a draw or possibly a narrow defeat. Chelsea will enjoy being the underdog here and Chelsea have IMO the strongest squad on paper. With Willian, Hazard and even Costa they have the perfect combination of attacking talent to hurt us, particularly considering our weakness at set pieces. Should they be able to set up much like us (as they did against Porto) and hit us on the counter, we will struggle.

That said, our team has so much belief and will that I believe we'll score at least once.

 Let the battle begin.

A team built for F^ck all, against the Russian billionaires multi million pound superstars with a manager who just doesn't know how to deal with losing.

If we control midfield, we win.

Kante and Drinkwater will be key to us winning this.

Nah, that's too simplified. We have to avoid silly fouls in 'Willian-range' and will need to be vigilant on their counters. There's little doubt in my mind that Chelsea will sit deep and very organised, not allowing space for Vardy, Mahrez and Albrighton to run into.

A huge statement if we win tonight. It would be great if we keep this winning run for the rest of the year and beat Man City on the 28th to go about 8pts clear in the title race, I can but dream.

There quality is certainly not to be underestimated but on the other hand there has to be something wrong there that they've been so bad this season, hopefully we can keep their bad run going for at least one more game. Champions Keague draw today so hopefully they won't be 100% focused on the game today, small margins I know but they all count.

To continue my charge up the superbru league I'm hoping for a 3-1 win for Leicester.

I have bad feelings before almost every game... I'm a Leicester fan, I think I'm preconditioned with it. :xmaswink:

Fair point, maybe I should be worried then as I feel pretty confident about tonight?
