Biggus Posted 11 December 2015 Posted 11 December 2015 Mourinho being unusually complimentary of us ahead of this http://www.express.co.uk/sport/football/625997/Chelsea-Leicester-preview-Jose-Mourinho-Claudio-Ranieri Hard to not just be instantly suspicious whenever something nice comes out of him. Entirely predictable I think - he wants our players to think about their dreams rather than focus on the man-to-man battle on Monday night. Claudio won't let that happen, will he !?
Captain... Posted 11 December 2015 Posted 11 December 2015 Manager of the month Player of the month Lawro hasn't predicted us to lose We never beat Chelsea All the jinxes are out, if we win this then I will believe we can win the league.

Claudio won't let that happen, will he !? Claudio has the perfect persona and mentality to deal with mourinho's mind games. Self-deprecating and affable, I don't see insults or flattery distracting him like it might other managers (keegan, benitez, wenger etc).
ARM1968 Posted 11 December 2015 Posted 11 December 2015 Have to admit with all those jinxes in place including the Lawro 1-1, if we do actually win we might well be on to something special.

Bluetintedspecs Posted 11 December 2015 Posted 11 December 2015 Superstition at its best, don't worry lads i'll counter your bunkum with my lucky pants
Guest Col city fan Posted 12 December 2015 Posted 12 December 2015 It's a bit shit we ain't playing till Monday ain't it. I wanna play today! Superstition at its best, don't worry lads i'll counter your bunkum with my lucky pants Bunkum...nice word buddy!
Foxhateram Posted 12 December 2015 Posted 12 December 2015 We've played some top class strikers and midfielders this year and none of them have run us ragged at any point. Why would that start now? I am normally quite reserved but we will be playing for a chance to either go back to the top of the league or to create a lead at the top. The boys will be buzzing. We will win every second ball and the lazy Chelsea journeymen won't know what has hit em. It will be a close game but I'm going 2-1 leicester. Kingy to score a late winner to take us back to the top!
EnglishOxide Posted 12 December 2015 Posted 12 December 2015 It's a bit shit we ain't playing till Monday ain't it. I wanna play today! Yup. But the positives are that we can use the weekends results as extra motivation. Also if we lose then we only have to wait until Saturday to put things right!
MC Prussian Posted 12 December 2015 Posted 12 December 2015 It's as if some people purposefully forget that we lost 5-2 at home to Arsenal... I'd be a bit more cautious because I sense that Chelsea have somewhat refound their form as of late with three wins out of five matches (plus one draw). They also like to keep it tight in the back and José usually sets out with a compact centre, allowing his wingers to roam. My prediction is a draw, but I'd be very happy if we managed to act as a spoilsport and add further woes to the London Blues as well as another nail in Mourinho's sporting career coffin.
weller54 Posted 12 December 2015 Author Posted 12 December 2015 Yup. But the positives are that we can use the weekends results as extra motivation. Also if we lose then we only have to wait until Saturday to put things right! 'lose'?.... Just looked that up in the dictionary, wasn't sure what it meant!
sylofox Posted 12 December 2015 Posted 12 December 2015 Will the extra days be of benefit to us.hopefully we have had some rest and with the heavy Xmas period coming up. The longer break may have helped us as our main rivals have played in Europe.
ronnup Posted 12 December 2015 Posted 12 December 2015 Think Kante and Drinkwater are the perfect antidote for their work shy players. Bournemouth ran 10k more than Chelsea. We can double that with our work rate and fitness. 2-0.
lcfc old boy Posted 12 December 2015 Posted 12 December 2015 let them have more possession than us the real statistic is shots on target, and this season in the majority of matches we have more shots at goal than the other teams, and i dont expect that to differ to much on monday night,as a side note probably the most entertaining city team ever we terrify defences why should it change monday, ask yourself mahrez or hazard, vardy or costa, kante or anybody,we are looking a very good side.
suffolk fox Posted 12 December 2015 Posted 12 December 2015 We will set up exactly like we did at home to Manure and Spurs. We will not play like we did against Arsenal, because that was a learning curve for all including our management team we were too open against them and got rightfully punished. It will be a very close game for all their problems they are a very good team. Been on their forums and there are mixed responses. I hope Terry and Fabregas start for them cos both have been woeful this season. Think we may just squeak it going for a 1 0 win.
Cincinnati Fox Posted 12 December 2015 Posted 12 December 2015 I think they will sit back as they wont want to let us have any space in behind. Really park the bus, medieval football as Jose likes to say. If Costa plays he or huth or both will be sent off. Willian is there biggest threat especially if he plays on the left up against Simpson. All Chelsea fans are ****ing rent boys!
justfoxes Posted 13 December 2015 Posted 13 December 2015 Wouldn't it be superb with the back page headline of RANIERI 5 MOURINIHO 0 Bournemouth ran at them and at times they couldn't cope with the pace so with Vardy Mahrez Kante etc running at them making space I really think we could walk away with all 3 points !! Come on Leicester keep it up lads !!
Bettsj2 Posted 13 December 2015 Posted 13 December 2015 We're not going to win this i'm afraid. 0-2 defeat.
Rincewind Posted 13 December 2015 Posted 13 December 2015 Even though Chelsea are rubbish ATM I am wary of getting carried away. It will just be our look to put in a bad performance and allow them to score a last minute winner. All the 'experts' will then go on about the beginning of the slide. But I could easily be wrong. a 2-1 win would be great and a draw acceptable. COYB
foxes161 Posted 13 December 2015 Posted 13 December 2015 If Premier league Chelsea turn up we win this...If champions league Chelsea turn up this will be far tougher
Livid Posted 13 December 2015 Posted 13 December 2015 No idea really but would take a point if it was offered right now.
foxes161 Posted 13 December 2015 Posted 13 December 2015 I would normally but given our next 4 games we need a win.
