weller54 Posted 5 December 2015 Posted 5 December 2015 After their home defeat to Bournemouth... Are they a wounded animal? Or just there for the taking?
Izzy Posted 5 December 2015 Posted 5 December 2015 After their home defeat to Bournemouth... Are they a wounded animal? Or just there for the taking? They are a wounded animal there for the taking I reckon
VLC86 Posted 5 December 2015 Posted 5 December 2015 Easy win against relegation candidates 5-0 Morgan 3x Drinkwater and Huth.
tom27111 Posted 5 December 2015 Posted 5 December 2015 We'll take another 3-0 win! The official changing of the guard, old champions passing the baton to the new ones. OK, I'm drunk.
Vacamion Posted 5 December 2015 Posted 5 December 2015 On recent form, we'll sh1t em. However, I foresee Costa doing his pantomime villain act and Huth getting sent off, after which we battle for a goalless draw.
Captain... Posted 5 December 2015 Posted 5 December 2015 They are struggling at the moment, but fvck me they have a lot of individual talent. They have a midweek CL tie, then play us on Monday, a lot can happen in those days. I do worry that if we concede our usual 60% of possession then they have so many players that can hurt us, we have to approach this game as though we are playing the Premier League Champions, not a team fighting relegation. With this side anything can happen, it could be another Arsenal, or we could destroy them, pace at the back is not one of their strengths.
Unabomber Posted 5 December 2015 Posted 5 December 2015 Game on paper we should really be winning but games aren't played on paper they are played on grass, luckily we are pretty good on grass too so I think we will win.
Harry - LCFC Posted 5 December 2015 Posted 5 December 2015 I'd be disappointed with a draw. I don't know if that sounds arrogant but that's what I think,
foxes_rule1978 Posted 5 December 2015 Posted 5 December 2015 6 nil... Vardy and Mahrez bagging a hat trick... Costa to be sent off after five minutes I'd be disappointed with a draw. I don't know if that sounds arrogant but that's what I think, I was disappointed with the Man U draw and they are better than Chelsea
Jimothy Posted 5 December 2015 Posted 5 December 2015 They are a wounded animal that's keeps getting new wounds each week. And they won't have much chance to heal as they have to play Porto midweek in a crucial, which if they lose they will almost certainly crash out. Normally when people talk about a team as a wounded animal they are talking about a team that's lost one game, like Man City today, not a team on a long run of poor form. They have the players to do us damage in a one off game so we'll have to be on our guard, but we should be looking to win this.
Captain... Posted 5 December 2015 Posted 5 December 2015 I'd be disappointed with a draw. I don't know if that sounds arrogant but that's what I think, Depends on Chelsea really, if they turn up and play to their potential and we come away with a draw, I would be happy, if Chelsea don't turn up and we fail to take any of our chances and draw 0-0 then I will be disappointed.
The Guvnor Posted 5 December 2015 Posted 5 December 2015 It's not just the result tonight, and incidentally they deserved to lose, they have been sh^t all season!
foxfanazer Posted 5 December 2015 Posted 5 December 2015 Put ourselves in a wonderful position where we expect to win games like this. I felt really flat after the United game which is testament to how far we've come. I think if we play our high energy pressing game we'll terrify that back four
weller54 Posted 5 December 2015 Author Posted 5 December 2015 Hope Huth can get Costa Offee!... Nice straight red!
foxes_rule1978 Posted 5 December 2015 Posted 5 December 2015 I've got a horrible feeling about this. Did you have a terrible feeling about today? and the games prior... I got to say I thought we might get a draw today and I'm the biggest optimised I can't even believe just what we are doing... against Newcastle I thought we would only get a point too... but we keep on winning and soundly
My Nads Posted 5 December 2015 Posted 5 December 2015 Game on paper we should really be winning but games aren't played on paper they are played on grass, luckily we are pretty good on grass too so I think we will win. Very true, I also think we will win it for the same reason.
ThingsCouldGetMessi Posted 5 December 2015 Posted 5 December 2015 If Mourinho is in charge then we should win this. If Mourinho is sacked then I expect Chelsea to start playing and it will be a much tougher game.
foxes_rule1978 Posted 5 December 2015 Posted 5 December 2015 If Mourinho is in charge then we should win this. If Mourinho is sacked then I expect Chelsea to start playing and it will be a much tougher game. My biggest fear, Mourinho getting the chop because in all honestly that Chelsea team has some serious talent that are playing way below their level at the moment. Hopefully it continues that way
foxychik Posted 5 December 2015 Posted 5 December 2015 We have to win its on my birthday !!! (21 again) I reckon Claudio may have a little point to prove as well
Rusko187 Posted 5 December 2015 Posted 5 December 2015 We are starting to look the real deal now, Claudio has managed to plug the defence up and we are conceding far less then before. He will want revenge against Chelsea, we are playing very well and they are not. Never thought I'd say this but Chelsea are there for the taking.
My Nads Posted 5 December 2015 Posted 5 December 2015 They are a wounded animal there for the taking I reckon They look more like lame ducks in sheep’s clothing to me.
