The team spirit showed through again though, dogged performance, excellent result, top of the league!!! Mahrez, Kante & Morgan in particular were all excellent tonight; however I want to single out Marc Albrighton, after tonight he 100% deserves an England call up, magnificent energy and his crossing was fantastic, Chelsea couldn't handle him.

wc-remix Posted 14 December 2015 Posted 14 December 2015 Last 30 minutes were very testing. When Chelsea went with three at the back and started attacking, we were put under immense pressure. Honestly don't think we dealt with it too well, we panicked, etc, but it was good enough in the end. First half though, goodness me, we dominated. Kante was that good. Mahrez, Huth, Morgan and Fuchs. The entire team. Love it. What a time to be alive.

I'd have taken him off waaaay early and put shinji on. he was the energy we needed to get out of own penalty area. ulloa was on for his hold up play and he could barely hold his own body up let alone the ball. never mind.

glenelgfox Posted 14 December 2015 Posted 14 December 2015 It is going to be a nice and hot Oz Summer day here in Glenelg SA and I will be proudly wearing the shirt as I do every week except for a loss but it's been so long I have forgotten what a loss is like! Also the LCFC is grabbing all headlines down under - never in the decades I have followed City have we garnished this much publicity and we are everyone's second side now. Still I am keeping a lid on it and taking 1 week / game at a time but enjoying life at the pointy end of the league!
