Yeah apparent we're only good against the top sides because they attack is. The lower sides will park the bus and deny the space we need.

FECKING MORONS!!

It is a laugh, when beating the lower teams and top it was because we hadn't played anyone good, when we beat the good teams and remain top it is we will struggle against the lower teams. lol

A few weeks ago they were saying.. We haven't played any top sides, apart from Arsenal and that they'll wait and see what happens after our run against.. Man United, Swansea, Chelsea, Everton, Liverpool and Manchester city...

10 points on from those fixtures they still don't give us the credit due..

Truth is they can't get their heads around the fact we are top of the league because of one thing...

We're the best team in the PL by a country mile and have been all season!

Cannot beleive how poor the Everton fans were, silent for most of the game and leaving with 10 minutes to go. Beautiful old ground deserved better. Pretty much non stop singing from our fans, glory days :)

God this is some season for the foxes, Everton are normally a decent side at home and they were today but some how the Foxes came away with three points. Fully deserved, the two pens were very clear and simple for Ref Moss. Plus a cracking goal from Okazaki, despite having a bit of a dodgy first half, he managed to turn it round and put in a great displayed in the second period.

Big win for us. 3-0.

  • They will be taken seriously (half the success they've had is through opposition underestimating them)
  • We've got the sort of mobile defence that will snuff out their threat on the break
  • They're missing two of their five ever-presents - Drinkwater and Huth. Drinkwater, in particular, will be a massive miss as he's the pivot of that side from defence to attack
  • They're really not that good. The defence looks suspect, and with Huth absent it'll only get more flakey.
  • We are VERY tough to beat, as the form guide will tell you.
  • We are in the middle of a run of form that creates lots of chances and sooner or later they'll again (S'land/Villa) end up being taken and burying some team.

We'll win this for sure. The only question is by how much. Leicester are coming down to earth with a massive bump tomorrow.

Thought we were pretty average in the first half but we did a good job of soaking up pressure.

Second half our midfield were more in the game and Kante completely stole the show. King predictably filled in like he'd never left. Kante won almost everything against two absolute brutes in Barry and Barkley.

Everton set up to nullify the threat of Vardy and Mahrez and the fact we're sat here with a combined 4 assists/goals between them says a lot about what it's going to take to stop them.

But today wasn't about those two - it was about a real positive team spirit and putting your body where it hurts. Simpson and Fuchs were proper defenders today and Fuchs made Delofeou (or whatever the spelling is!) look average.

Really good atmosphere and really positive performance. Was sat next to Drinkwater and his friends and the fact he's in there having a great time with us singing all the chants says a lot about the spirit of the club at the moment!

Genuinely a very proud moment as Barnsley away only feels like yesterday - and now we're top of the premier league. Merry Christmas!

So this really difficult run where we were going to crumble against the big boys hasn't yielded one defeat yet.

All the stattos seem to be ignoring that we haven't lost away since March as well.

As for the Everton comment mentioned above, people keep thinking they're going to take us seriously and it will be different - well it's making fvck all difference!

2 defeats in 26 and we are still going to crumble when someone takes us seriously!

Where are all these teams? Some of them have had 2 bites of the cherry!

The funny thing is he said they will take us seriously but still predicted a 3 nil win and said we aren't any good.. okay lol

The first half today was exactly as i imagined it. Everton giving us no time or space and trying everything they could to feed Lukako from the flanks.

What mattered was the way Leicester remained disciplined, worked tirelessly and absorbed the pressure.

No we didn't pass and move very confidently - Everton were so quick to press that it was all but impossible. But Fuchs was masterful in taking the steam out of the tricky Everton winger and our containment of Lukako every bit as good as we could reasonably expect because he was always going to get a chance or two for all that he had far fewer than last time he was up against us.

It bothered me that we were so quicly pressed that we were forced to panic pass the ball into the air a bit too often. But something one of the posters mentioned stayed in my mind - that Everton had a habit of fading in the second half and would start to leave gaps.

So it turned out. They became noticeably slower to close down allowing Leicester to find more time, space and opportunities.

The chances were still there after we led 3-1 - Ulloa's perhaps being the best late on - but we seemed drawn into the notion of closing the game out rather than pressing and this lead to a predictably nervy finish.

Throughout this spell we had more men passing and moving into space leaving Everton to get increasingly ragged and frustrated.

Yes, they rallied with their substitutions but still they didn't really carve us open. For me it was another thoroughly professional scalping by a group of guys who never take time out and never give anyone an easy life.

Love it. With a bit of luck they might make top half this season. Merry Christmas :D
