In Bristol today

I was in Bristol today visiting family and proudly wearing my Leicester City Christmas jersey. I had loads of people stop me and say that they hoped Leicester would win the league. My guess is that we maybe starting to see a lot of "plastics" starting to support us. My formerly Chelsea supporting foster son has now decided he likes Leicester bettet

More supporters, more merchandise sales leading to better known club, attracting better staff, players and investment, and helping the city's reputation, at home and abroad. THE HORROR.

There's quite a few of us down in Bristol- even Mike Stowell!

I've been amazed the number of times I've been travelling back down the M5 and spotted a fellow returning Leicester supporter. That was when we were shit too!

I just think people want us to do it rather than the usual suspects.

Us winning will give everyone hope.

Local arround Great Yarmouth top side fans want us to do it infront of normal rivals

If you weren't a season ticket holder during the Allen-Megson-Holloway era you should be exiled and banned from Leicestershire for life.

If you weren't one of the home supporters at the 6-0 victory over Carlisle .....

I think there were only about 6000 of us that day.

We're massive in Bristol. Well, a dozen or so regulars.

I've been travelling to most games home and away for about 10 years from Clifton and now Brislington. It's a great conversation starter when you see a City shirt at Temple Meads.

From Clifton to Brislington ,hell that's a bigger slide than Leeds united.

I remember the Bristol City away game one year, stood waiting for a pie and asked the guys behind me how'd we been the few weeks before the game - they couldn't tell me they were from Bristol. I go back to my seat pie in hand and the kids I'd dragged along told me they'd seen two of their school teachers in the away end as well - apparently they were closet Leicester fans as well.

I get alot of that up in Bolton too but I think its purely because they hate man u and what man c have become. I just be Hamble and say thanks lol

It's pretty obvious that most neutral football lovers want City to get the title coz just like us foxes, they are sick of the usual

money-bags winning season after season. It's a British thing too, we love the under-dog to win!

Did I accidentally quote L. Ritchie?

:) Was a creative way of pointing out that I may well be one of those people that you saw on the M5 returning to the southwest. ;).

I take your quote and raise you several seasons under David Pleat when the sun never came out and despite a few quality players we still managed to throw out some shite, all in front of about 10500, yes the real supporters were around then :D;)

Are you referring to the early eighties home match when Lineker and Lynex both scored hat-tricks? Can still remember that game but surely the crowd was significantly more than 6000?

I remember beating Arsenal at Filbo think it was 7-2 many years ago. Also beating Oxford Utd at Filbo 1-0 to save us from going into the 3rd tier of English football for the first ever time and I still have a season ticket.
