johnny the fox Posted 28 December 2015 Posted 28 December 2015 Who would you rather have ? Wes value 1 million, Stones value 50 million.. is stones a media myth?
DJ Barry Hammond Posted 28 December 2015 Posted 28 December 2015 You can only be as good as the players around you - one man does not make a team.
foxes21 Posted 28 December 2015 Posted 28 December 2015 I bet Morgan smashes stones in every department stats wise, in terms of defending of course. Please could someone squawka it?
Guest NGoloMode Posted 28 December 2015 Posted 28 December 2015 Stones has potential to be great but has a lot to learn. Morgan is playing better at the moment for sure.
Unabomber Posted 28 December 2015 Posted 28 December 2015 Would rather have Morgan's Jamaican Grandma than Stones.
DJ Barry Hammond Posted 28 December 2015 Posted 28 December 2015 Of course the real question should be a barrel full of Captain Morgan or Stoned? Personally, I couldn't decide on that.
Guest Sharpe's Fox Posted 28 December 2015 Posted 28 December 2015 Big Wes would gobble up Stones with rice and beans.
TJB-fox Posted 28 December 2015 Posted 28 December 2015 Like the idea of them two playing together (here obviously not at Everton)
fuchsntf Posted 28 December 2015 Posted 28 December 2015 Morgan has 3 years max, Stones is still learning, and showing promise and potential. We at this very moment have the better player, at this moment. I just wish Liam Moore was competing with Stones, that is where my feelings lie or even lay.....
Tuna Posted 28 December 2015 Posted 28 December 2015 Stones not the finished article so unfair to judge really but ATM I'd rather have Big Wes.
Fox92 Posted 28 December 2015 Posted 28 December 2015 Stones. And lets not forget Stones is 21, far from the player he will become.
Guest BlueBrett Posted 28 December 2015 Posted 28 December 2015 Players don't always get better as they age into their mid/late 20s. In fact plenty get worse..I know I did.
AKCJ Posted 28 December 2015 Posted 28 December 2015 Lmao. John Stones in a heartbeat. Wes is clearly good for us right now and in incredible form but anyone that would take him over Stones is a fecking fool.
whoareyaaa Posted 28 December 2015 Posted 28 December 2015 Stones has years on Morgan and is english plus hes a pretty decent defender obviously big Wes is having the best season of his career though. not worth 50m more like 20/25m
Carlos88LCFC Posted 28 December 2015 Posted 28 December 2015 Stones has years on Morgan and is english plus hes a pretty decent defender obviously big Wes is having the best season of his career though. not worth 50m more like 20/25m Because he's home grown ups his value slightly and in today's market I'd say 30 mill would be about right. He's a so called 'wonder kid' and has put in some game changing performances in some games I've seen him in.
Grewks Posted 28 December 2015 Posted 28 December 2015 you don't see many 21 year old center halves doing what stones is. You only have to compare him to the likes of smalling, who didnt find form until 25/26.
ScouseFox Posted 28 December 2015 Posted 28 December 2015 what exactly do you mean when you say "doing what stones is"? making goal-costing errors pretty much every week? being torn apart near enough every time he plays? being the heart of one of the worst defences in the league? not many 21 year olds doing all that, no.
(.) (.) Posted 28 December 2015 Posted 28 December 2015 Of course the real question should be a barrel full of Captain Morgan or Stoned? Personally, I couldn't decide on that. Stoned. Without a shadow of a doubt. Stoned.

Put Stones at the side of better players and it'd be different. He'd fit right into Arsenal's team. You only have to look at how Morgan has improved since playing alongside Huth.
Dan Posted 28 December 2015 Posted 28 December 2015 On this season it isn't even a contest but I think most defenders would struggle in Everton's side because of how high they sit. Martinez will go soon.
Corky Posted 28 December 2015 Posted 28 December 2015 I don't mind Stones but the commentator fawning every time he doesn't pass the ball in the air is quite laughable.
AyewJoking Posted 28 December 2015 Posted 28 December 2015 Would rather have Morgan's Jamaican Grandma than Stones. His grandma is actually English. He qualifies for Jamaica because he has an old Bob Marley album in the attic.
