FantasticMrFuchs Posted 5 January 2016 Posted 5 January 2016 Leicester City have switched their attention to Austria international defender Martin Hinteregger after pulling out of a deal for compatriot Aleksandar Dragovic. Red Bull Salzburg centre-back Hinteregger has been scouted by Arsenal, Liverpool and Manchester United in recent seasons but is the subject of offers from Stuttgart and Borussia Monchengladbach at the moment. Red Bull want around £10million for the 23-year-old and Leicester are looking to step into the bidding. they want a new centre-back with Yohan Benalouane heading for Sampdoria while Hinteregger is good on the ball and is one they believe will continue to improve. As the article says, we're looking to ship off Benny and Was will be gone at the end of the season, plus Moore looking like it's not going to happen here. Getting someone in and embedded for an area that will need strengthening at the latest in the summer seems wise to me.

Disappointing about benny, he's looked good when he's played and put in one of the best centre half performances this season in the cup against west ham. would have liked to see him given more of a chance, think hes got the potential to be better than huth
