fuchsntf Posted 12 January 2016 Posted 12 January 2016 Would prefer Tuesday, so more rest for the team before Saturday game. Players in Fa-cup, most wont be involved either the Saturday before, nor the weekend after, even so sort of swings and roundabouts, Wednesday is middle of the week...so same o, same o.
LCFC FOX Posted 12 January 2016 Posted 12 January 2016 Was going to get my ticket tomorrow but I can't make Wednesday nights as I work late
Guest CityFan 06 Posted 12 January 2016 Posted 12 January 2016 With it being on TV I'm just hoping there won't be too many empty seats. Were the West Ham (H) cup tickets the same price as these out of interest? We got around 21k for West Ham but we could get a few more thousand for this one as the ticket pricing is good.
jammie82uk Posted 12 January 2016 Posted 12 January 2016 Prefer the Wednesday myself as I have to work later on a Tuesday then I do on a Wednesday so won't have to rush now
4everfox Posted 12 January 2016 Posted 12 January 2016 (A) spurs 3 days (A) Villa (late kick off) 4 days (H) Spurs 3 days (H) stoke 6/7/8 days (A) Colchester (TBC) 3 days (at best) (H) liverpool 4 days (A) man city (early kick off) 7 days (A) arsenal. 28 days 7 games. average of 1 every 4 days.....this could be fun. We used to do this in the Championship with virtually the same squad, we'll be fine.
Larry_LCFC Posted 12 January 2016 Posted 12 January 2016 Can't really see spurs bringing a massive crowd. They could get about 5000 odd allocated potentially.
Dan Posted 12 January 2016 Posted 12 January 2016 That's disgraceful really given that they announced it was on Tuesday and then started selling tickets for it. I can still make it but imagine there'll be plenty who've bought tickets who now can't.
Fox92 Posted 12 January 2016 Posted 12 January 2016 Nice. Not bothered about going so I'll take it in on the TV now.
Long Eaton Fox Posted 12 January 2016 Posted 12 January 2016 Do you get your money back if you can't make wednesday?
Thracian Posted 12 January 2016 Posted 12 January 2016 Not looking forward to another spursgasm from the bbc but meh The BBC could have easily demonstrated there seemed no way the referee could have seen that penalty incident and therefore had no right to give a penalty or make a decision that seems only to have been based on the Spurs player's (hardly disinterested) reaction. Did they ask the referee for his explanation? Or are they simply shackled by the authorities and why? We shouldn't be surprised. What with their doctored debate audiences and blatant political bias, they're beyond defending.
Thracian Posted 12 January 2016 Posted 12 January 2016 Can't really see spurs bringing a massive crowd. They could get about 5000 odd allocated potentially. Can one of our players referee? They seem to have had their turn!
DB11 Posted 12 January 2016 Posted 12 January 2016 I was happy about this when I realised I was off work, then I realised I am off work because I'm going to the TV awards Brilliant...
demon_dog Posted 12 January 2016 Posted 12 January 2016 Pleased because I would have had to try to get back from Redruth after spending the morning training some people. Didn't fancy trying to get round Brum about 5pm!
Guest CityFan 06 Posted 12 January 2016 Posted 12 January 2016 Yeah to be fair depending on how many Spurs bring, they'll up the attendance hopefully.
Walshy5 Posted 12 January 2016 Posted 12 January 2016 Wonder if the BBC pundits have managed to crawl out of Harry Kanes arse yet!
Fox92 Posted 12 January 2016 Posted 12 January 2016 Wonder if the BBC pundits have managed to crawl out of Harry Kanes arse yet! It was a joke tbf. They were banging on about his during commentary and then he gets an interview after the game too.
MikeyT Posted 12 January 2016 Posted 12 January 2016 Would have preferred the Tuesday but what the TV wants the TV gets!!

C-man Posted 12 January 2016 Posted 12 January 2016 Noticed earlier when checking their allocation (3,300) that Tottenham had it on their website as provisional for Tuesday but TBC. Can't recall whether we did the same but it wasn't on the auto cup scheme receipt... Cant complain at that though you know what you're signing up for. At least it sounds as though the Club were warning those ringing or calling in at the ticket office. It was a joke tbf. They were banging on about his during commentary and then he gets an interview after the game too. He did score though tbf.

I wanna know how the mouthbreather got a +7 rating in The Sun's Dream Team, what a joke, who gives these ratings out?!?!

Maybe the Beeb is xenophobic!?
Raw Dykes Posted 12 January 2016 Posted 12 January 2016 Would prefer Tuesday, so more rest for the team before Saturday game. But this way it means they'll have more rest before the cup match instead. It will be the fringe players again, anyway, so it makes very little difference.

I don't recall it being "provisional" on our website, or if it was, it wasn't very conspicuous. Tottenham didn't even have the game listed yesterday and today it was clearly stated that the date may be moved. In fairness to our ticket office, when I called to buy tickets today he mentioned it straight away that it may be switched and they'd hopefully know for sure by the end of today.
