Eastwellfox Posted 14 January 2016 Posted 14 January 2016 Did anyone else think the Spurs fans sounded like a male voice choir when then sang. I have never heard football fans sing so well.
CharlieCharles Posted 14 January 2016 Posted 14 January 2016 Could not really hear them to be honest, one of our best ends in months in terms of atmosphere. Refreshing really because we have had some awful ones this season.
kyleolly Posted 14 January 2016 Posted 14 January 2016 I think I know what you mean especially when they were singing when the Spurs go marching in
Izzy Posted 14 January 2016 Posted 14 January 2016 I think I know what you mean especially when they were singing when the Spurs go marching in I think that sounds so gay when they sing it slowly...
BrummieFOX Posted 14 January 2016 Posted 14 January 2016 I think that sounds so gay when they sing it slowly...What a ridiculous thing to say. Agree with the OP though, they do sing well. All at the same speed and it's a noisy ground when they get going. Thought our end was decent but we do struggle to all the sing the same thing at the same time. One point yesterday where the lower tier were singing two different chants and then the upper started a new one!
melrose Posted 14 January 2016 Posted 14 January 2016 Can't say I enjoyed that Mahrez/Kante chant that went on & on!
Channies6thswan Posted 14 January 2016 Posted 14 January 2016 Best chant last night - near the end - "we're gonna win the league". Everyone belting it out & went on a while. Class.
weller54 Posted 14 January 2016 Posted 14 January 2016 I think I know what you mean especially when they were singing when the Spurs go marching in Sounds cringeworthy to me!.. Cocks!
Benguin Posted 14 January 2016 Posted 14 January 2016 Toure one might well be cringey but at the end of the day going to the football is all about supporting the lads and having a good day, I have no shame in admitting I was bouncing up and down singing that last night. Spurs were awful, they shouted a lot when Harry Kane dived about and sang coys at Corners but that was it.
Channies6thswan Posted 14 January 2016 Posted 14 January 2016 I hate the way we now sing "oh when the blues - go marching in" really slowly twice before we get going. We never used to. Did we copy the Spurs fans in this? Especially hate it when someone starts it in a really exciting passage of play - just when you want a real upbeat chant
bluebeau Posted 14 January 2016 Posted 14 January 2016 Could it be because they were all circumcised as babies?
Monsell1976 Posted 14 January 2016 Posted 14 January 2016 Toure one might well be cringey but at the end of the day going to the football is all about supporting the lads and having a good day, I have no shame in admitting I was bouncing up and down singing that last night. Exactly what I said in the match thread, when some were slating the toure song.Doesn't matter what is sung, as long as we sing and back the team. Spurs did seem poor vocally, but so are most premier home fans, we should be proud of our fans this season, home or away we have been good.
Izzy Posted 14 January 2016 Posted 14 January 2016 What a ridiculous thing to say. No it's not ridiculous at all - are you a Spurs fan or something? I think it sounds gay sung really slow. Sounds cringeworthy to me!.. Cocks! This.
Riot Van Posted 14 January 2016 Posted 14 January 2016 Heard them maybe once or twice from the lower corner...
Filbert_Ross Posted 14 January 2016 Posted 14 January 2016 Sounds cringeworthy to me!.. Cocks! Agreed
theessexfox Posted 14 January 2016 Posted 14 January 2016 I was more in them than I was with Leicester because our seats were right next to them, and our section of the Leicester end wasn't too loud. May have just been where I was, but I thought we were more vocal on Sunday, and Spurs outsang us for the first 20 minutes.
Guest CityFan 06 Posted 14 January 2016 Posted 14 January 2016 The 'We're Gonna Win The League' chant sounded good.
Jordan Posted 15 January 2016 Posted 15 January 2016 No it's not ridiculous at all - are you a Spurs fan or something? I think it sounds gay sung really slow. Are you really doubling down on this?
Aus Fox Posted 15 January 2016 Posted 15 January 2016 Hand Ball, Hand ball, Hand Ball - thats the only thing I heard coming from the the spurs end. Both games, every time the ball was off the floor Hand Ball, sounded like a remake of the Chaz and Dave classic Rabbitt
LCFC FOX Posted 15 January 2016 Posted 15 January 2016 Cringe when they sing it slow? Blimey I forgot singing at 5000 mph like we do sounds a lot better
howlinmadmurfdoc Posted 15 January 2016 Posted 15 January 2016 No it's not ridiculous at all - are you a Spurs fan or something? I think it sounds gay sung really slow. This. What's wrong with being/sounding Gay?
