Guest ttfn Posted 17 January 2016 Posted 17 January 2016 All of a sudden this is a really big game. The "front 4" spots are all up for grabs at the moment as far as I'm concerned - nobody apart from Shinji is playing well in those positions. We've tried resting Mahrez. It didn't work, he's come back looking just as hopeless as he did in the Bournemouth game. If he's actually "very, very sad" about his performance yesterday let's give him a chance to put it right asap. We've tried resting Vardy, but now we're told he's actually not injured any more and just needs more training/sharpness - what better opportunity to give him that sharpness/added intensity than playing on Wednesday? I'd go with: Schmeichel De Laet Wasyl Benalouane Chilwell Mahrez King Inler Gray Kramaric Vardy Yes, I know Kramaric isn't going to play, but we've all seen him play a few times for us, and no, he wasn't a world beater but he was a damned sight better than Ulloa has been this season. We've got absolutely nothing to lose by giving him a chance.
Guest LCFC_World Posted 17 January 2016 Posted 17 January 2016 Main players need a rest so lets give others a chance. I would love a cup run, and i want us to win it.. but you don't get many opportunities to finish in a champions league spot so lets put that as our #1 priority. SchmeichelDe LaetWasylBenalouaneChilwellDyerKingInlerGrayUlloa Kramaric Please play Kramaric. He could be the extra quality striker that we are lacking. Has never really had a chance to adapt to the premier league.
justfoxes Posted 17 January 2016 Posted 17 January 2016 Hoping for a better performance than Saturday's game against Villa !! Hoping for a 2-1 win !!
4everfox Posted 17 January 2016 Posted 17 January 2016 Mahrez needs dropping for the foreseeable and replacing with Albrighton. Stick Gray on the left.
Stevosevic Posted 17 January 2016 Posted 17 January 2016 Vardy has to play if he isn't currently match fit.
suffolk fox Posted 17 January 2016 Posted 17 January 2016 Just a thought but hasn't Vardy got to serve a one game ban he got booked yesterday, isn't he due a ban under the totting up procedure?
Bayfox Posted 17 January 2016 Posted 17 January 2016 Just a thought but hasn't Vardy got to serve a one game ban he got booked yesterday, isn't he due a ban under the totting up procedure? No as the 5 bookings amnesty has passed.

RowlattsFox Posted 17 January 2016 Posted 17 January 2016 Got to give Kramaric a go surely unless he has pretty much done a deal somewhere else. After his Liverpool cameo and everyone thought he shown a great work ethic to impress the manager, he hasn't been seen since. Not even on the bench. If we had a young kid scoring loads of goals id probably hive them a ho too but we don't. Same starting line up as the other game but with Kramaric instead of Kante.
AyewJoking Posted 17 January 2016 Posted 17 January 2016 im not that bothered about the cup but agree with others who think kram should start.
promised land Posted 17 January 2016 Posted 17 January 2016 ............................kasper .......de laet....was..........benalouane....chilwell .......dyer.......king...............inler............gray ...............................Kram ...............................Ulloa Bench: Schwarzer, any new signing + the kids. No one who started tonight should be playing. So this Kasper chap you have in goal is a new signing then and that's his surname?
Nalis Posted 17 January 2016 Posted 17 January 2016 I'd go with the team most are suggesting but with Ulloa and Dodoo up front. If we dont play Kramaric he needs to leave either on loan or permanently, cut our losses and free up a space in the squad for a striker we'll actually play.

LCFC FOX Posted 17 January 2016 Posted 17 January 2016 Kasper De Laet Benalouane Wasyl Chilwell Mahrez King Inler Dyer Kramaric (almost impossible he'll get picked so Okazaki) Ulloa
Sol thewall Bamba Posted 17 January 2016 Posted 17 January 2016 Who the Hell will start up front?? ..Surely Kramaric is worth a punt? Still holding out hope are we? Sick of playing this lot, let's just get it over with.
ozleicester Posted 17 January 2016 Posted 17 January 2016 Hope that Claudio puts out the side he really thinks will beat them.... then go on to win the FA Cup
Psihobambi Posted 17 January 2016 Posted 17 January 2016 , Kram won't play, stop dreaming although : there's a small chance that he will stay here, because his wage is too big for the small clubs to pay. He wants to play, and he can get the pitch time he wants at the smaller clubs. Owners refuse to sell him and refuse to pay for his wage while he is on the loan. Apparently ofc
weller54 Posted 17 January 2016 Author Posted 17 January 2016 , Kram won't play, stop dreaming More chance of Rachel starting!
Guest Posted 17 January 2016 Posted 17 January 2016 If Kram hasn't gone yet just throw him in Kasper De Laet Wasyl Benny Chilwell Dyer Inler King Gray Kram Okazaki/Ulloa Agree with this starting lineup except for Dyer. He wasn't up to it in the first game, replace him with Dodoo. Matty James could get a start if he's ready too. Kasper De Laet Wasyl Benny Chilwell Dodoo Inler King Gray Kram Okazaki/Ulloa
GeorgeTheFox Posted 17 January 2016 Posted 17 January 2016 I do really want to see Kramaric. Not saying he's better than Okazaki (who gets way too much stick on here) or Ulloa, but they both have the same weakness imo which is their first touch, something that Kramaric is undeniably very good at
Webbo Posted 17 January 2016 Posted 17 January 2016 I think I'd start Mahrez against Spur's reserves to boost his confidence and then rest him (put on bench) against Stoke.

Vardy and Mahrez on the bench.
