phildw Posted 27 January 2016 Posted 27 January 2016 Hope he performs better than the cameo performance on Sky the other night against Arsenal. He was woeful, poor touch, crap in the air/challeng and a bang average looking footballer. May be he is just fed up at Chelski, but I was hoping for better quality than this.
Russell sprout Posted 27 January 2016 Posted 27 January 2016 I'd have probably said yes please before seeing him against Arsenal. They had loads of counter attacks at the end as Arsenal sent men forward yet he didn't look interested. Might be that he doesn't like the place, or lacks match sharpness but it'd worry me having him in a team that demands 100% effort all the time. So your opinion is based on his appearance against Arsenal, I would hate to hear your opinion of any of our current squad if they had a bad game, 'Yeah vardys been great all season but after seeing him the other day I would flog him' It's a daft statement to make
Nick Posted 27 January 2016 Posted 27 January 2016 Remy and Vardy up front would be lovely in a more traditional 442 rather than the 4411
simon789us Posted 27 January 2016 Posted 27 January 2016 End of the day he's a proven goal scorer in this league unlike some of the others mentioned

MC Prussian Posted 27 January 2016 Posted 27 January 2016 Saw on Twitter L'Equipe say we've bid £7 or 8 million for him. Cant find the tweet The article has now apparently been deleted - the tweet still exists, but the link is dead:

st albans fox Posted 27 January 2016 Posted 27 January 2016 I hope we don't buy him because we can't buy anyone else In that case, should be a loan
Wasyls Pec Deck Posted 27 January 2016 Posted 27 January 2016 I've forgot if he's any good to be honest...
Will1981 Posted 27 January 2016 Posted 27 January 2016 http://www.themag.co.uk/2016/01/leicester-move-ahead-of-newcastle-with-cash-offer-for-loic-remy-reports/ sounds like bull to me why would we make an offer in euro's for another premier league player
Ric Flair Posted 27 January 2016 Posted 27 January 2016 sounds like bull to me why would we make an offer in euro's for another premier league player Because they are taking the report that was made from French website l'equipe.
thybluefox Posted 27 January 2016 Posted 27 January 2016 Scores lots of different types of goals. He's stagnated at Chelsea without regular playing time, but he's obviously got talent. If we do get him, I trust the coaches enough to believe that any attitude 'issues' can be dealt with and he can find form again.
LeicesterAreGoingUp Posted 27 January 2016 Posted 27 January 2016 Didn't he fail at medical at Liverpool before he signed for Chelsea? Was that just a small injury at the time or has he got a long term issue? Personally, for £8million he's worth getting in
bald reynard Posted 27 January 2016 Posted 27 January 2016 The article has now apparently been deleted - the tweet still exists, but the link is dead: That could be good news or bad news. Good, if the deal's happening, but nobody wants to scupper it and so deletes the article; or bad, if it was all bull in the first place and the poster has deleted it through embarassment !
Jazzy_Jeff Posted 27 January 2016 Posted 27 January 2016 Would take him if he can learn how to press the ball like Vardy and Okazaki. Good finisher.
Finnaldo Posted 27 January 2016 Posted 27 January 2016 I honestly think 'Scupper the deal' is becoming the new 'Kermo was decent' Every time I hear it a little part of my soul dies
Finnaldo Posted 27 January 2016 Posted 27 January 2016 In terms of Remy himself, if he can hit the ground running, which may not be that unlikely in spite of his form with Champions League as an incentive, he could be a very useful purchase especially for £7 million. I'm not sure it's fair to judge his character on the whole of Chelsea but I'm sure that's an insight Walsh and Ranieri could gather.
GaelicFox Posted 27 January 2016 Author Posted 27 January 2016 I don't like the sound of him not wanting to roll his sleeves up and earn a starting place. I don't want him bringing any of that Chelsea attitude here. Until we are established in top half and regulars in Europe we are still going to have top players want assurances they are going to be number one ! Every player is the same at a certain level, especially when stepping from Chelsea to Leicester Once that step if no longer seen as a massive step down then players attitude will Change a little bit !

Ranieri still close to many at Chelsea , if he was a bad egg they wouldn't sign
ARM1968 Posted 27 January 2016 Posted 27 January 2016 Should we stop talking about this so we don't scupper the deal?
Finnaldo Posted 27 January 2016 Posted 27 January 2016 Ranieri still close to many at Chelsea , if he was a bad egg they wouldn't sign Yep that's a fair point. Although if the rumors are true then I'd imagine he's secondary option to Musa if we're offering £19 million for him...
mozartfox Posted 27 January 2016 Posted 27 January 2016 Yep that's a fair point. Although if the rumors are true then I'd imagine he's secondary option to Musa if we're offering £19 million for him... I really do hope that this is just a ploy to get CSAK to act sensible on the Musa bid.
Soar Fox Posted 27 January 2016 Posted 27 January 2016 Are people really worried about him upsetting the team spirit? The core of this squad Kasper, Wes, Vardy, Drinkwater have been here years together now I doubt they would let someone come in and ruining what they have. I'm sure the players self manage the dressing room.
