EnderbyFox Posted 27 January 2016 Posted 27 January 2016 Unsure about this one. Chelsea fans don't seem to rate him at all, but then again he's barely played/started many games. Worth a punt I guess, decent record at QPR/Newcastle.
Foxy_jim Posted 27 January 2016 Posted 27 January 2016 Still say Shane long would be my target , ticks all the boxes, quick, energetic, goalscorer, international, prem proven not too expensive. Not sure about Remy at all.

les-tah Posted 27 January 2016 Posted 27 January 2016 IF anyone tried upsetting the squad WAS would chin them. He will be kept as the enforcer after this year.
Bob Weasel Fox Posted 27 January 2016 Posted 27 January 2016 https://twitter.com/RobTannerMerc/status/692299811266101248Oh well
ramboacdc Posted 27 January 2016 Posted 27 January 2016 i never wanted him anyway. he's obviously a money grabber and doesn't care for playing.

ARM1968 Posted 27 January 2016 Posted 27 January 2016 Imagine Remy being a problem with big Was around? I don't think so. Was would bang him good.
GaelicFox Posted 28 January 2016 Author Posted 28 January 2016 Mirror says we have bid nearly 8m for Remy ! Chelsea willing to do Remy and cash for Vardy **** off Chelsea !

foxes21 Posted 28 January 2016 Posted 28 January 2016 Honestly would be nice to have another French player so Riyad and N'golo have another pal
smr Posted 28 January 2016 Posted 28 January 2016 hahahaa chelsea, they seriously think we'll give them vardy and destroy our greatest ever and possibly only ever chance our life time of winning the PL or getting top 4.
Socks Posted 28 January 2016 Posted 28 January 2016 If we can't get a perm new striker then a loan deal till the end of the season would be ok i suppose not keen on him though
Captain... Posted 28 January 2016 Posted 28 January 2016 Remy just doesn't fit for me, our team is built on hard work and team spirit, not 2 characteristics I associate with Remy, a good goal-scorer but he strikes me as a footballing mercenary. I think a lot of the links in the press have come from Chelsea to try and unsettle us if they are serious about Vardy.

Captain... Posted 28 January 2016 Posted 28 January 2016 Why would Chelsea want to unsettle us, they won't be catching us this season? Because they want Vardy, and they think that linking us with Remy will unsettle Vardy, new big money striker coming in etc.
STUHILL Posted 29 January 2016 Posted 29 January 2016 Hiddink just been on SSN and says Remy has slight calf strain but regards a transfer, "we will see what happens in upcoming days" ... I think he will be leaving in this window judging by that response. Newcastle probably favourites but would think if we are interested still, and Remy would join us over Newcastle (surely!!). This could be a real option still.
Bamba's Babes Posted 29 January 2016 Posted 29 January 2016 Loan or permanent is fine with me. I think he would be an asset. Newcastle can spunk whatever they want on him, they'll still mess it up.
whoareyaaa Posted 29 January 2016 Posted 29 January 2016 Knows where the goal is and has some pace and ability about him, never really had a chance for Chelsea but everytime I have seen him play I was impressed with him so get him in if we can. has been in the prem for a few seasons and will score.
Danizen Posted 29 January 2016 Posted 29 January 2016 Because they want Vardy, and they think that linking us with Remy will unsettle Vardy, new big money striker coming in etc.Well that's just amateurish if it's true. Vardy is as close to untouchable as a single player can be.
