Vardinio'sCat Posted 26 January 2016 Posted 26 January 2016 Can he play the no10 role? if not, it limits his value... As cover for Vardy, he would be great, but I can't see him coming to sit on the bench.

People getting obsessed with the 'number 10' role and 'complimenting Vardy'. Should be more about getting someone who can score goals and any natural striker can play the number 10/9 role. What happened to having two centre forwards anyway? The number 10 role is overated and whenever we have played Ulloa there this year it's been dog awful.

It's become the new buzzword and often used by people who don't really know what they're saying, just using it because Alan Shearer said it on MOTD.....and he's an AMAZING pundit after all

ramboacdc Posted 26 January 2016 Posted 26 January 2016 All focused on Loic remy http://www.sempreinter.com/2016/01/26/sm-samp-reject-eder-bid-leicester-no-longer-threat/?
weller54 Posted 26 January 2016 Posted 26 January 2016 Don't think Remy is the answer!! ..Austin would have been better... ..think we're getting desperate!
Thracian Posted 26 January 2016 Posted 26 January 2016 To think...with or without Remy, if Chelsea beat Leicester in their last match they could hand the title to Arsenal and their good friend Arsene Wenger. Fascinating game football!
ARM1968 Posted 26 January 2016 Posted 26 January 2016 Won't happen. Terry OG 86th minute handing us the title.
Wymsey Posted 26 January 2016 Posted 26 January 2016 Won't happen. Terry OG 86th minute handing us the title. And no doubt he'll be joining in with the celebrations.
Thracian Posted 26 January 2016 Posted 26 January 2016 Won't happen. Terry OG 86th minute handing us the title. What a shame that would be - Wenger would be in his element!
JJS84 Posted 26 January 2016 Posted 26 January 2016 Skybet currently has us at 22/1 to sign remy, both palace and Newcastle ahead of us so they say.
goose2010 Posted 26 January 2016 Posted 26 January 2016 If we do sign Remy on loan anyone know when the last time a club loaned someone from below them in the league?
Ric Flair Posted 26 January 2016 Posted 26 January 2016 If we do sign Remy on loan anyone know when the last time a club loaned someone from below them in the league? Weren't Swansea below us when we got Nathan Dyer?
goose2010 Posted 26 January 2016 Posted 26 January 2016 Weren't Swansea below us when we got Nathan Dyer? good point maybe but that was early in the season...

Ric Flair Posted 27 January 2016 Posted 27 January 2016 Offered £10 million according to l'equipe, however Remy is worried he won't be first choice.

ozleicester Posted 27 January 2016 Posted 27 January 2016 what great days these are, when players of Remy's quality cant be guaranteed regular game time for us
My Nads Posted 27 January 2016 Posted 27 January 2016 Offered £10 million according to l'equipe, however Remy is worried he won't be first choice. I don't like the sound of him not wanting to roll his sleeves up and earn a starting place. I don't want him bringing any of that Chelsea attitude here.
Number 6 Posted 27 January 2016 Posted 27 January 2016 I'd have probably said yes please before seeing him against Arsenal. They had loads of counter attacks at the end as Arsenal sent men forward yet he didn't look interested. Might be that he doesn't like the place, or lacks match sharpness but it'd worry me having him in a team that demands 100% effort all the time.

I don't want him bringing any of that Chelsea attitude here. To be fair to him though, why would he leave Chelsea to sit on the bench somewhere else? whether he likes the place or not he is still being paid a wage so for me he can keep away from us we don't need that type of ego around our great team spirit What evidence is there of this toxic ego that you talk about? He had a bad game against Arsenal, but I'm not sure how that indicates he's a bad person?
Max Power Posted 27 January 2016 Posted 27 January 2016 Is he still fast? Looked ponderous in the oft mentioned cameo against Arsenal and I know he's had injuries in the last couple years
lgfualol Posted 27 January 2016 Posted 27 January 2016 Saw on Twitter L'Equipe say we've bid £7 or 8 million for him. Cant find the tweet
