leicsmac Posted 29 February 2016 Posted 29 February 2016 what could you possibly enjoy if you don't enjoy roast dinners and probably the best tele programme of all time Boiled vegetables are what they would feed me in Hell, hence my dislike of the overall institution. Yorkshire pudding is superb though. I'm not just picking out Peep Show - not a fan of that, The Office, The Inbetweeners etc - just can't stand the style of schadenfreudic, supposedly smart comedy. Give me pure slapstick any day. But humour is subjective, and I know others think differently.

Fox92 Posted 29 February 2016 Posted 29 February 2016 The Beatles hahahaha don't be stupid. They changed the parameters of music and without them you wouldn't have bands of today (or even then). I take it you or those +1 your post don't understand what music was like before the Beatles then?
ramboacdc Posted 29 February 2016 Posted 29 February 2016 I was going to add Peep Show but I thought I'd be lynched. i agree with peep show. the mighty Boosh Breaking bad/Better call Saul

They changed the parameters of music and without them you wouldn't have bands of today (or even then). I take it you or those +1 your post don't understand what music was like before the Beatles then? There was plenty of good music before the Beatles. I'm not saying the Beatles didn't have any influence or didn't improve the state of the UK's pop music culture but they didn't save music like some people make out. Rock n' roll, blues and jazz have been around long before the Beatles - I hate it when people make out that the Beatles changed everything

leicsmac Posted 29 February 2016 Posted 29 February 2016 I think you've been doing ROAST dinners wrong mate. You'd think so, but Sunday dinner when I was young always involved boiled vegetables, all green and yucky and...
Julian Joachim Jr Shabadoo Posted 29 February 2016 Posted 29 February 2016 A good roast dinner is about 50% meat, 20% potatoes, 20% stuffing/yorkshire, 5% sweetcorn, 5% boiled veg You can bin the boiled veg off and barely notice it!
