ceredigion Posted 3 March 2016 Posted 3 March 2016 With only 10 games left, squeaky bum time is fast approaching and the football TV, radio and newspaper pundits are having to nail their colours to the mast. But which ones do you think would love it, love it if we won the league, and which ones are secretly praying that our wheels drop off asap? I've got a few suggestions. Ones who would love it: Gary Lineker (obviously) Tony Pulis Ian Wright Joey Barton Sir Alex Ferguson Martin Keown Ones who would hate it: Mark Lawrenson Alan Green Alan Shearer Jermaine Jenas David Pleat Any other thoughts?
hebangsthedrums Posted 3 March 2016 Posted 3 March 2016 Ian Stringer would love it, mainly so he could deride Pearson for not winning the title last year.
Guest Posted 3 March 2016 Posted 3 March 2016 I think Lawro's terrible predictions have been part of our lucky charm this season, long may he continue being wrong!
Guest ttfn Posted 3 March 2016 Posted 3 March 2016 Chris Sutton is on some BBC outlet daily saying we'll collapse and has been since about mid-November. Makes sense given that he was part of that 92-93 Norwich team and also that 94-95 Blackburn team that limped over the line despite having one of the best players in the world up front.
mozartfox Posted 3 March 2016 Posted 3 March 2016 Ones who would love it: The Owners Claudio's Bank Manager Ones who would hate it: All Spurs Fans All Arsenal Fans The City of Nottingham Arsene Whinger.
My Nads Posted 3 March 2016 Posted 3 March 2016 Paul Walsh and Tony Gale are a pair of bitter cockney nob ends!
fox_favourite Posted 3 March 2016 Posted 3 March 2016 The smug git Peter Beagrie will secretly want us to fail, and I bet Robbie Savage as well. Beagrie has always put us down whenever he can.
AyewJoking Posted 3 March 2016 Posted 3 March 2016 paul merson? actually didnt he say (when asked if we will win the league) we wont win the league because when arsenal were 8 points behind us with a game in hand he said "if arsenal win today then beat leicester they will be just 2 points behind" its 6 right now merse
dobbylcfc Posted 3 March 2016 Posted 3 March 2016 The smug git Peter Beagrie will secretly want us to fail, and I bet Robbie Savage as well. Beagrie has always put us down whenever he can. Tbf Robbie Savage has always been complementary about us on 606 so has Fletcher when I've heard them.
Marmite Posted 3 March 2016 Posted 3 March 2016 I think your wrong about Shearer he loves us when he talks about us on MOTD.
Guest Lcfc82 Posted 3 March 2016 Posted 3 March 2016 Charlie Nicholas and merson on sky have been desperate for us to fall away all season
SystonFox Posted 3 March 2016 Posted 3 March 2016 Charlie Nicholas and merson on sky have been desperate for us to fall away all season At the same time though Merse backs us most weeks and is very complimentary. He just seems as astounded as we are.
thebluefox Posted 3 March 2016 Posted 3 March 2016 Mick Quinn on talksport definitely doesn't want us to win it
RGFox Posted 3 March 2016 Posted 3 March 2016 Tim sherwood qas on talksport yday and said heart for spurs and head for man city. He really is clueless that one.
Jimothy Posted 3 March 2016 Posted 3 March 2016 Shearer is on the wrong list, i think he'd like us to do it. Initially Danny Murphy hated us, but now seems to have seen the light. Danny Mills hates the idea we could win the league, he'd definitely be bouncing of the walls if we dropped away. Thierry Henry I think would begrudgingly like us to win, but would obviously prefer Arsenal.
weller54 Posted 3 March 2016 Posted 3 March 2016 Tim sherwood qas on talksport yday and said heart for spurs and head for man city. He really is clueless that one. His cock would have a better idea!
Vlad the Fox Posted 3 March 2016 Posted 3 March 2016 Tim sherwood qas on talksport yday and said heart for spurs and head for man city. He really is clueless that one. I reckon every time he appears on tv or radio there's another chairmen or two who cross him off their list of possible next managers.
Freddiethefox Posted 3 March 2016 Posted 3 March 2016 Ha ha that spurs fan yesterday on sky sports news said Leicester are nobody's and Spurs would beat West Ham ,love to have seen his face last night ( he didnt like us)
Tuna Posted 3 March 2016 Posted 3 March 2016 Most Journos - IE Intelligent people do. Most ex players - IE Thick don't.
