Pundits who want us to do it and pundits who don't

Jenas wouldn't "hate it". He was pressed on it on Monday night due to being ex-Forest/ex-Spurs, and made a jokey response saying he ough to. He actually comes across as pretty neutral, which a pundit ought to be really if they're giving an objective view on things.

Perry Groves dislikes us as well as does that toss piece who wrote for the telegraph.

Danny Murphy wants Spurs to win it. He's said so many times on radio. Fair enough really.

He's very complimentary about us as well though.

With only 10 games left, squeaky bum time is fast approaching and the football TV, radio and newspaper pundits are having to nail their colours to the mast. But which ones do you think would love it, love it if we won the league, and which ones are secretly praying that our wheels drop off asap? I've got a few suggestions.

Ones who would love it:

Gary Lineker (obviously)

Tony Pulis

Ian Wright

Joey Barton

Sir Alex Ferguson

Martin Keown

Ones who would hate it:

Mark Lawrenson

Alan Green

Alan Shearer

Jermaine Jenas

David Pleat

Any other thoughts?

Some talksport tw@s georgie Bingham Micky Quimm !!

Tony Gale is forever whinging about clubs that aren't West Ham

Roy Cropper would swap his orange juice in the Rovers for a magnum of champers......

Jeff Steling on Sky and Colin Murray on Talkshite would love us to do it I reckon.

The only one's I've heard who give me the impression they don't want us to do it are Michael Owen and Micky Quinn. Maybe Charlie Nicholas too...

A pikey caravan dweller Spud fan

I'm no pundit but this still feels good

A big thank you to your boys for blowing this thing in our favour again.  :punk:

Now hopefully you can do the decent thing and beat Arsenal and lose to us.

In fact West Ham have just about beaten all our rivals so they're one of my favourite teams at the minute.  :D

Anything else would be ridiculous. We have so far been the most exciting teams to watch and we're backing it up with results despite being tipped to go down before the start of the season. How can any pundit NOT be complimentary about us?

Gale is a ****, but I love it when Cottee's on with him and puts him in his place. Cottee doesn't take any shit does he? lol

Yeah it's possible for pundits to be complimentary about us but don't want us to win the league

Ones who would hate it:

All Arsenal Fans

My fiancee is an exception to that one - she supports Arsenal for strong personal reasons, but thinks it might be best for the long term if they lost this one (and Leicester won it) :)

Charlie Nicholas absolutely hated it when Ulloa got the winner last week. He was very begrudging of our win.and he kept on about how unlucky Norwich were.

I think Merse wants us to win.

Niall Quinn has always been positive about us this season praising our teamwork & fighting spirit. Carragher also jumped on our bandwagon early in the season noting Kante's excellent performances (which encouraged Henri to join in).

Agree that M Quinn has been the worst on TS.

Roy H no doubt wants his beloved Kane/Ali to win the League
