Going to the games I have no problem with, if people want to watch city play live then it shows how far we have came ( and being a non ST holder and struggling to get a look in on tickets now I should be moaning my arse off )

But the "We" being spouted about these days .... Just embarrassing

What's worse oh yeah im a united, liverpool Chelsea fan ect ... " but Leicester are my local team and my granddad supports them too so I've always had a soft spot ", well then support your local ****ing team when they're lower leagues and playing shite then or **** off you glory hunting weasel

The thing is the plastics will never know how this feels right now, they will never feel how we will feel if we win the league because they were never there when we lost that game to Watford, which I still remember to this day (I literally started crying) and that is good enough for me. knowing that they will never know the utter jubilation we will feel.

What does piss me off though, is the plastics getting tickets when you have die-hards who were watching the team in league 1 going without tickets now and then having the utter stupidity to boo the team which I hear happened a tiny bit after the baggies game, this is damaging to the proper supporters because without the support they are used, the teams confidence might take a hit, making us lose games.

I have been a Leicester supporter since 1975 , most of my family hate football , luckily my grandad loved the foxes and took me down every week . I took my son down from the age of 4 and he was hooked (had to get it into his blood from an early age ) . The last 5 or 6 years his mates called for him in their Man U , Chelsea shirts etc and gave him stick for being a leicester fan . Strangely though , they now call for him and they are all wearing leicester shirts.

I guess I am a plastic too, I converted from Brighton (even went to the FA Cup semi in 1983), who were my Dad's team, until I saw the light in 1984 or 1985 and decided that what was going on down the road was far more interesting..........and allowed me to actively support a team too. I hope for my Dad's upcoming 80th birthday that Brighton (or The Neds as he calls them) finally get back to the first tier.

Anyone who was here through the Levein years is absolutely not a plastic. This thread is just about the nobs who are only City supporters when it suits them.

Just had a thought,I've witnessed a lot over the last 46 years, some good some bad some woeful but there are a lot of youngsters who will have started coming this season for the first time and only witnessed the best ever!!

Still amazing we're getting glory supporters when 9 years ago we were losing to Birmingham at home and looking nervously over our shoulders at whether Leeds would be getting the points deduction for administration to give us a bit of breathing room to the relegation zone.

I got the "oh they're all coming out now" treatment in the office the other day. Makes it harder for me being born and bred in Leeds. It was a Celtic fan but I knew he was old enough to remember a few, so I reeled off Bloomfield's team, (the one I first went to see). In fairness a Baggies fan stepped in and confirmed my long support. Find myself wearing the Topps Tiles shirt rather than this years' even though it's hideous.

Luckily not too bad, but 1 lad who I went to Uni with has started sticking bits on Facebook about how he can't believe what's happening, etc. In 3 years (at Leic Uni) he never once attended a game. I didn't even know he 'supported' them. Quite annoying.

Imagine if we keep this going and in a few years time, you've got kids in Salford saying, "no, no, no, my dad was born in St. Matthews. That's why I'm a Leicester fan."

Yeah there's a bloke I work with who used to love winding me up back when we were shit, now he's all over our success.

There are also several Arsenal, Chelsea, Man City and Man Utd plastics who have all of a sudden bought shirts and managed to spawn tickets to games, sometimes getting away tickets that I didn't even manage to get, but that's another story that's been discussed a few times in other threads!

Then of course you hear the comments at the matches that you just have to smile to yourself about;

  • "Who's that?",
  • On the Norwich game @ approx 85 minutes "Let's go, this is the worst game i've seen in 4 or 5 years" hmmmm, well i've never seen you before, of course that doesn't mean you're not a regular but that mixed with your OTT comment think says alot about how many games you've come to see in 4 or 5 years....By the way, that's why you don't leave games early aswell.

I suppose it's something to be proud of and it's gonna happen, but you just know they'll go crawling back under the woodwork, if the going get's tough (Hopefully it's not going to, hopefully we'll keep competing at the top, but that fact remains)

Best comment I've herd this season is

"He's gonna take that Chinese bloke off in a bit, Kawazaki or whatever it is"
