SKY SPORTS Very Bad For Our Health.

Recommended Posts

So with only one game left where we all kick off together can we take legal action for our health problems.

I am sure we will all be kicking every ball in ours and spurs reaming games.

So what is all this going to do to our mental and physical health by the time the has been won or lost.

And at the end how many fans from one of the two clubs will be reaching for a length of rope.

So anyone else not looking forward to the next few weekends and Monday nights or am I the only one.

Pressure over the next few weeks will probably be the greatest any City fan has endured.

I'm 49 years old, and I am known for being vociferous in my manner at games at any time.

I'm now out of control.

Since the Man City game, when I saw us destroy a Champions League team, and the realisation that it could happen.

My kids actually are concerned for my health, due to the stress involved - it's a little sobering when you note people do drop dead at games.

Pre sky you went to a game walked out and everyone had played.

Now we have the rollercoaster of spuds play tonight and us tomorrow.

So if spud lose we go on a high win we go low till our game.

Then if we lose go mega low or mega high if we win.

7ish tonight on here should explain what I mean better lol lol lol

I genuinely worry for my health at games. I could just about cope with us finishing runners up but not sure I can handle Spurs winning it. If rather lose out to Arsenal, Man City or anyone than Tottenham

And it is now 2 fold.

You must remember the Orient promotion and how bad it was needing us to win and Cardiff to drop a point.

But it happened at the same time not over 2 or 3 days.

Im not feeling any pressure whatsoever, not even remotely stressed.

The season has exceeded all expectations and im just excited, anticipating what could be the best moment in Leicester's history by a long way.

Being on the brink of relegation, losing games, the threat of the squad being broken up, job losses, that is pressure, and a very negative pressure.

Its like the golfer who is scrapping to make the cut, and the one trying to win the tournament. The guy scrapping to make the cut will be really feeling it.

Agree. So far had three lots of chest pains and dizzy turns at games since the new year and will be glad when the season is over, so I can get some sleep at night.

Personally think Arsenal have a great chance of catching Spuds with their reasonable run in, six winnable games out of eight. Hope to see us first, then Arsenal, Spuds.

Also reckon Sky are trying to help Spuds by putting them on after us after this weekends set of fixtures. Bit like playing the second leg at home you think it's an advantage, but if we win our matches, the pressure this causes could backfire their strategy.

Is it an advantage to play first or second? I think it's always an advantage playing first because if you win the pressure is on the other side to win, and if you lose the pressure is on the other side not to lose, if that makes sense.

The next 3 games after this weekend Spurs are on after us.

I'm not worried or stressed by it, yeah I'll be momentary disappointed if we don't win it now but I'm already in awe and astonishment at what we have and will achieve. I'm going to enjoy the next seven games, win, lose or draw.

I'm with Donut on this one.

Sometime around the 40+ points mark it suddenly became easier.

Knowing we were here for another year with a squad that was giving their all it became enjoyable.

Upset over the Arsenal game, not for the result, a sense of injustice but then i remembered sh*t happens every now and again, get over it and move on.

An unbelievable 12 months that IS going to end up with us playing in the Champions League, European glory nights.

Loving every minute of it with my eyes WIDE-OPEN so I don't miss a thing.

Watching the big clubs and their fans squirm as they struggle to understand what we've done this year is just the icing on the Ranieri cake.

Premier League back this week-end, bring it on.

I totally agree. What is the worst case scenario? Second or third most likely, so we have Champions League football (at least six games), a joint best position in the club's history if second, the manager will stay, the vast majority of the squad will stay, we have Premier League football, we are incredibly attractive to new players. Relegation last season would've been far worse- squad broken up, slog to get back up, loss of revenue, empty seats at the ground, a step back after the progress made to get promoted.

I had pretty severe chest pains at the Derby play off final and went pale and sweaty. The guy next to me said he'd call for a steward, I replied in a kind of breathless Basil Fawlty voice "A Steward? I need a triple bypass not adequate knowledge of the block lettering system". A couple of minutes of not watching the game, with hands over my eyes and some deep breathing seemed to work despite the fact I couldn't shut out the sounds around me, my request "Can you be quiet for a minute" was not heeded by you selfish sods! Think it was an anxiety attack, some kind of hypertension but thought I was in trouble for a while. A steward probably would have some training and the ability to get further help but when I looked round at the mayhem around me (Just after Walshy's second goal) getting the help didn't seem practical so I just tried to take my mind away from the reality of what was happening.

1) Watch this
2) Think "maybe, just maybe"
3) Develop lump in your throat the size of a spacehopper

If we do it, I'm going to be crying like a baby.
