Apparently Matt Le TIss had put a chapter in his book slagging him off. Many people have commented that Le TIss only got 8 caps and Palmer 18. Palmer basically said there was a reason for that and if he was Matt Le tissier he would have a long hard think why he had less caps than Calton Palmer etc

Le Tissier played for England less than 10 times.

I believe I actually did, albeit at a young age, but I never saw Di Stefano play yet I know he's one of the most complete forwards ever.

Have a look at the prems top 20 goals, Le Tissier will feature 2 or 3 times with sheer brilliance. To put palmer in the same bracket is just ridiculous.

Regarding matt le tissues England career he has no one but himself to blame.

Much respect for his one club career but don't harp on when players are picked over you.

Palmer's argument was with the fact that he gave 100% in every game and Le Tiss didn't.. Nothing to do with skill

Le tiss obviously wasn't as fussed about fitness and has spoken about taking bribes to stick the ball out of play and stuff. Maybe the game was too easy for him.

Great player to watch. Players like Le tiss are why I go to watch football.
